I've never thought or heard of that idea before. I really dig it. Might be a fun house rule to write up some stats for and use.

I just take the different dreads as similar to different weapon loadouts right? It's not like if you are a heavy weapons guy you become Ironclad.

That is a really good idea for some legitimate sounding fluff, I like it.
