/shrug.

I see most people taking cover saves from low AP weapons.

Only thing Null helps heaps are vs. Daemons in general, Nob bikers, Eldar Councils foot or jetbike, and Stormshields.

If it did all saves....now that would be worth more points...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

well, i've noticed my armies main problem is that I lack the needed killing power at short ranges to take down very tough infantry with invulnerable saves. normally at these ranges they don't have cover.. it seems like its a good unit to add to my list

Space Marine librarians in a hard hitting Command Squad are pretty nifty.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

I have been tempted in the past to get a libby biker for my biker army.

Adds a fast moving hood.

Powers:
Null and Might.
Null has great synergy with the range of the hood coupled with fast movement.
Might is there to offer some more muscle in combat.

Captain w/ relic and Might LIbby is more than a handful of str 6 whoop ass.

But /shrug, sort of meh about him as there are other great choices as well.

Librarian on Jump Pack is a cool combo, and I think very overlooked.

I once saw a cool "fast" marine army that consisted of a Captain on Jump pack leading a squad of Assault Marines, and a Librarian with Jump pack leading another squad. The list was filled out with a couple Rhino squads, and two trio's of Land Speeders. The guy would split it down the middle and attempt to pincer from each flank. Choosing to shut down the Captain or the Librarian would leave you open to the other.
