I rather like them infact. Centerfolds are all well and good, but more importantly I am just really bored with "large muscled barbarian man!" or "giant man in armor! (presumably bald and screaming)" and the seemingly endless variants thereof. Do a search for "demon" minis sometime, and then a search for "angel" minis, for another example of "WAY too much of the former, none of the latter".

The variety is nice, especially when it features T and possibly A

Also a diferent paint job on this will change this miniature a lot. Since the concept art is so strong( and cool) and all the site presentation kind of gives you a direction etc if you paint a dirty robot for example and change the style its going to be wicked...

Still waiting on the first chick though

I think these are a very refreshing addition to the miniatures landscape. Very unique and different.

I don't think that the "pinup" styling is a problem at all. Vinyl kits have been doing the same for decades. So what if ONE miniatures company does so? It simply provides something different that I, for one, can appreciate.

Well my miniatures didnt got here for a simple reason... I typed my address with a typo... so yeah toss those tomatoes my way I deserve all of them and much more... Just plain slowed really

Ussually I check, double check and triple check... but this time I only had eyes for the hips

Soda pop folks instead of sending me a bucket of menure to the face they will cover it for me... yeah its amazing how incredibly good they are about this and they will get my business in the incoming future for sure!

I was thinking about getting one, suits my anime mecha 40K army to a T. But if the scale is 32mm it´ll be too big. Me sad panda.

Hmmm.... What scale is that in compared to GW stuff? I wonder if that could be converted into Shadowsun for my future Tau army...

Definitely digging! I will certainly pick one up when it is available.

I do wonder how she rides/fights in the mecha though. Does she sit on it like a crotch rocket, or is there a little cock pit that would enclose her when in position? Further, could I have written that with more innuendo?

It's described as 32mm. Don't have any to compare myself, but I imagine it'll be broadly compatible.

Yes, it would work. The figures are about 28mm, less 'heroic' than GW's but more curvaceous in an anime way.

Any differences can be explained by her being a Tau lady, not a human man.

The sculpting is very nice, and I love the motorbike-turned-giant robot look of the mech...

Not sold on the final pose, though. I think the mech is leaning just a little too far forwards. Instead of the relaxed pose from the artwork, it makes it look like the mech has just come to a screeching halt and she's pitching forward over the handlebars.

Might just be the angle of the pics, though. And if not, would be relatively easy to fix with some creative basing...

That's a really good point. Something about that was bugging me and led me down the path of "how does it work?" I see now that the correct line of thought is less "how does it work?" and more "why does the machine look like it is in the middle of something when the pilot is pausing and looking around?" Sort of strange, like a picture of a horse galloping at high speed while the rider is looking for something in the saddle bags in back.

I'm fairly sure it should come in several parts, so it'd be a trivial matter to repose it to something more natural looking.

Good to know. Is it going to be resin or metal?

I really should stop skim-reading stuff, as I missed this paragraph on their website:

Hrm, that's a lot of metal for the robot. A little annoying to chop up to repose, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Note the "multi-part" bit

If the concept art is anything to go by, the arms and legs should be separate pieces.

That was nothing like what I expected when I clicked the link, excellent work to the sculptor and thanks for the link to the OP Teasers look like more mecha madness on the horizon, though perhaps less curvaceous anime chica

Hey guys!

Glad to see you like her. We were impressed with Jacques ability to capture Chester's art.

She will be pewter and is, if I remember correctly, 24 pieces!

Pose, we imagine the mech in essentially a three point stance like that of an American football player. He is set while Malya pops up to survey the field a little better, but is mere moments from springing back into action.

For scale, she is consistent with Candy so is right in the realm of infinity and such. She's in the middle of having masters and mold made so I don't have one on hand to be able to tell you more exact size references.

She rides the mech like a bike and there is no enclosed cockpit. Instead, in the finest anime super character traditions she nimbly dodges massive barrages of missiles and bullets, while what few get through impact on the relic or energy shields.

Thanks!

Oh, I noted it. I suspect though that "multi-part" will not end up meaning "fully posable articulation". Not really a big deal, but depending on the size of the parts glueing and pinning that many metal bits can be miserable. Infinity models are difficult enough to pin with their tiny little limbs. Still, it might not be all bad, just saying.

No don't say things like that, I didn't want a reason to justify the idea of getting a Tau army.

I don't see it like that. I see it like the mech is posed like an NFL lineman ready to pounce, and the rider is checking everything before committing to the spring.

However a little bit of conversion can easily be done, I'm sure.

She's still in the blister, but I can do a comparison for you later, when I get home. She's much smaller than a usual GW model, in case you are wondering.
