Yeah, for fortune. Its a 1900+ stupid unit it really is almost impossible to kill that unit without shooting.

re-rolling to hit at I6 with rending could put a hurting on it.

Other than that, all I can think of is Scabathraxx(Forge World GUO) Since his toughness value is too high to be hurt by that unit. But that does not really count...

Since my codex isn’t right next to me I’ll have to do this off the top of my head, but:
Land Raider Crusader - 260
Logan -275
Ragnar Blackmane- 200ish?
10x Wolf Guard W/ power weapons, bolt pistols -280
Total 1015 (give or take)

With the charge and an average of +2 attacks from Ragnars ability, Logan’s +1 and preffered enemy that’s;

9 STR6 ini 6 attacks from Ragnar
9 STR 9 attacks from Logan or 9 STR6 at ini 6
60 Pwr Wpn ant ini5 from the Wolf Guard

And they re-roll to hit, and the wolf guard are troop choices cause of logan.

yea, logan was my original idea, but i opted for Ulrik, because he is cheaper.

Blood Angels, Dante and full Honour guard loaded up, plus mephiston and a death company at 6 men. WIth the Furious charge I 5 rending, preferred enemy with Dante all around, your unit is -1 ws and ballistic skill all around, mephiston steals 1 attack from each of your models, and it packs rending and a str 5 t 5 mehiston and init 6 with his force weapon and using all his powers and said force weapon every player turn. Add in 3 meltas and 3 plasma pistols and jump packs, I jump in from 12 away, fry your land raider then charge in, I don't know if it would win, but is law of averages holds out everyone is going away really hurt. Oh the price, 725.

How much does that cost? 700 points ish?

Aura of Acquiesence means even in the EXTREMELY unlikely event that you don't all die before hitting back, you get no extra attacks from charging.

AND the have 5+ Invul saves so you can stick your power weapons in your ear

Reaver titan with as many lasblasters as possible.

Awesome except Reavers arent good in close combat with those lasblasters..

Two units of 10 MANZ each, all armed with kombi-skorchas for a total of 900 pts. Since they can Waagh! the odds are (slightly) on their side for getting the charge. They grit their teeth and absorb your first strike, then the survivors shove their powerklaws so far up your collective asses that your tongues are electrocuted. I'm not sure if they would win or not, but it'd be a terrific mess on both sides.

Alternatively, if you're in your LR, they simply surround it, pop it with S9 PK hits, and kill off most of your unit by denying them room to disembark.

And if somehow they end up close enough not to need to run (not very likely), they land a TON of S5 templates on you to strip off your PW Wolf Guard, then charge. That would be absolute best-case, and would probably never happen, but hey, a man can hope.

I see it as 10 (well + another couple from the IC's) wounds that have a 3+ armour save (from the OP). I go first, regardless and between the two squad's should be about 10-11 wounds. That should equate to 8-9 dead space wolves and some wounds on the invulnerable saving IC's. Pistols & No-Retreat should kill them off.
