It is true that the 1520 can be put on like a back pack. Its not the most comfortable back pack but it does the job considering it holds 1500 plus models. This idea has come up a few times in the past. We got a couple emails early on from people asking abou a back pack more like the GW one that was released for APOC.
We liked the idea but never really took it much further. I think the main reason is our trays. We would need to create a backpack that could hold really large foam. That would require a box like design and would keep it from being functional in the way of a small backpack. This is not a bad idea but with all the other items we have been working on we let it go for a while.
I can tell you that if you guys really want something like this just PM me personally and lets talk about it. I never let a good idea go to waist and we could look further into the developement of something for next summer.

Just got my 1520 in the mail - and it is AWESOME... and AWESOMELY HUGE!
It is definitely what I was looking for and what I wanted, but I am certainly looking forward to the P.A.C.K. 720 as a 'around town' kind of bag...

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

So, will ALL the P.A.C.K. bags be able to zip together? I know you currently have the current smaller two bags that can zip on top of the bottom unit of the PACK 1520, but what about the 216 with the 432, or the 432 on top of the 1520's top unit (which is in turn on top of the bottom unit of the 1520). Or, hell, even maybe two 1520's (both units each) put together?
As everyone knows, Sabol's bags have this capability. Will the new Battlefoam systems be similar (and most likely, better) than this?

Yes,
With the newer bags almost everything zips together. As our product line grows we will continue to add exciting features that will allow for many storage options.
The P.A.C.K. Plus bags that are coming out 1st Quarter next year will allow you to make your bag as large as your wallet will allow. A truely endless amount of hobby goodness.

Have you guys ever considered a system for holding codices and rulebooks. Might be nice to have a system that attaches to the existing systems allows for carrying multiple books (I know about the pockets on the bags by the way I have a 1520) Kinda hard lugging three or four codices and the rule book and your mini's and your dice. Just something to consider.
Love the Bag by the way. My 6 year old wanted to see some the my figs and decided to pull the bag from my work bench. It fell maybe 3.5 to 4 feet. Not one model was damaged in any way. Even a couple of the loose ones were not broken. Paid for itself that day. So thank you and my Space Wolves and Crimson Fists thank you as well.

I suggested this in the Ideas thread before Thanksgiving also a system for all the A4 sized FW rule books and Apoc books too..

Hmm... That 720 has peeked my interest.
Question: Will the Mini be able to take enough trays to hold all my tools AND paints? Mind you I have the full range of each + extras.
