you may laugh now... but i have to drive 80 miles a day for work (40 there, 40 back)

i went from spending close to 100$ a week (when gas was at or under 2$ a gallon) in gas to doing 26$ (or whatever the current price of gas is X 10 gallons).

How is the maintenance on those?

The Beemer? We rebuilt the engine a while ago, and will probably redo the trans soon (the car's pushing 150k miles, which is a bunch for a something that isn't a Honda or Suby). We have a indy mech, and he's quite good.

The SVX was a little pricey, due to parts rarity, but not too bad. It's a $40k car, so the parts and maint costs were proportional.

You yanks might pick up from the body that it's a GM car, and the Commodore basically lines up with the Caprice design (for example, the current production model is based on the Opel Omega).

That is a steal, god damn. My car cost more than that and it was pushing 100k miles when I got it.

2008 FJ Cruiser, custom paint; black with white roof and white trim. Interior is all basic, but it has a jack for my iPod so I'm happy. What's more, it's unshakeable in the snow.

4 wheels are cheating, you walk on two legs you should drive on 2 wheels. that said i ride a 84' 650 GSM Susi, and a 95' 660 XTC yammy. but what i want is a 2003 TDM 900. (im a bit tall for street and i love the feel of the old standard sit up.) that and i never had a licence for car so im bias and proud of it......
