Dear God, that must have been awful.
Reminds me of the time my brother was at the grocery store, and as he was paying for his goods he noticed the female cashier was not entirely female, just a disgusting man in make-up.

I was on a date when I was like 17ish, and everything was going pretty well, I thought I actually had a chance with a hot girl, until she told me Chris was short for Christopher, not Chrissy, like I assumed. It got pretty terrible after that moment. Curse modern medicine!

I wish I could say it was an unsuccessful date. It still haunts me. 
Not really we stayed friends awhile till she/it moved to Texas. I always thought wasnt a smart move moving there but ehy maybe she was suicidal
