Well, if its any consolation, Favre hasn't won too many games playing against the Cowboys at Cowboy Stadium Home Place...
It is correct that the packers don't seem like they're doing anything for one main reason: they don't use some of their defensive men correctly. When Favre played for the packers Kampman was a big "hit the quarterback" guy and got quite a few sacks. However, they have him chasing receivers now, receivers and running backs who outrun him. In one game Favre was sitting pretty for like 10 seconds or so wasn't he?

Tis the thing. In the games against the Pack this year Favre had all day in the pocket on most drives. He could have ordered pizza and he would have gotten it delivered hot and fresh and still would have had time to throw a pass.

I'd be impressed if the Packers played the Colts before the superbowl... since they are in different leagues. THAT would be impressive!

Sorry, got my teams mixed up. Point still stands though. If the pack plays any of those " 1 loss" or "only a few losses" teams they're going to lose. I expect them to beat any other teams though.

If a quarterback puts up good numbers, and your team continues to lose, then it isn't by fault of the quarterback.
Not necessarily true. Some QBs throw for a lot of yards but just don't seem to have the knack for getting it done in crunch time in big games. Right now I put Rivers in that category. He goes video game on the bad teams but just doesn't seem to have " IT" in the playoffs.
Having said that, I think WRs play a big role here too. Big Ben threw a perfect pass in last year's Super Bowl, but a worse WR than Santonio Holmes wouldn't have made the catch and gotten his feet down. Sometimes WRs can fail a good QB.
But having said that, I think Joe Montana in his prime could have led a 2-minute drill for a TD with me and Betty White at WR.

I think the Colts are the best bet for the AFC... NFC is a bit murky though, I'd love to see Dallas there.

Hmm, I'm betting on Mn and NO in the NFC division game and Indi and NY in the AFC Division game.
Superbowl: MN and NY.

Damn it. Went 50/50 on picks. Though I'll claim 66% due to the closeness of GB/AZ.

GB/AZ game was a good one. Thought AZ had it than GB came back to tie it.
Thout AZ had it again than they missed the FG. Ah well, GB lost. I'm happy.

Okay, so my Pats pick was off. I never expected a Bill B.-coached team to come out that flat and that poorly. Would have enjoyed it other than the fact that I can't stand the Ravens either. It's too bad one team had to win that one.
I knew the Packers D was suspect after Big Ben threw for 500 on them. Warner didn't throw for 500, but he had an even better day.
I also foresaw that quick out by the Eagles. Supposedly the "sharp money" and pro gamblers were betting on the Eagles, but I have no idea what they were looking at. That team clearly lacks something. Like maybe defense and a heart.
The Cowboys are going to be a tough out.

I would've picked the Ravens over the Pats, the Pats all season have been kinda.... ehhhh. Then they loose their go-to receiver....
The Packers I think could've won that game, but a good defensive play by the Cards, yes there were facemask penalties missed on both sides of the ball.
Dallas was going into the playoffs on a win streak, even the Eagles lost before the wildcard game.... I believe in streaks, Dallas has one going for them, they are going to be tough.

Vikings will be tougher.
Vikings will have it tough in the Divisional game but the Vikings are on fire at home.
I still give it to the Vikings by 14.

im thinking Dallas by 6, Romo is just too good right now, Favre might still get buy with some of his magic though, it will be an interesting game though.

I would love to see Dallas win versus the Vikings but then they'll have to beat the Saints away on the road again. I can easily New Orleans losing though since they have really slumped going into the playoffs so it's quite possible the winner of the Dallas/Vikings game won't have to play the Saints would have homefield advantage.
If I were to bet money it would be on the winner of the Ravens/Indianapolis game. Both teams are really good. I will be pulling for the Colts and hope they don't suffer any injuries versus the hard hitting Ravens.

The way the Raven played against the Pats, I have to seriously re-think my AFC predictions... Dallas, i think has too much momentum, i am thinking superbowl party at my place with blue and silver balloons..... (my wife is a Dallas fan... and she wants to paint Slaanesh AND Tzeech deamons?!?!) i guess we really are compliments, i am a Adaptes follower and a 49er fan....
