Exactly. Not only is the word "confirmed" in all caps but then followed up with a maybe? Maybe I believe the OP. Maybe I don't. That I can confirm!
This reminds me of all the Baneblade rumors from years back. Same rumors, different model.

Im not quite sure if thats the way to look at the situation.
For example , among Trygon , Bane Blade , and Stompa , they share similar value , same class.
Cheap enough when made into plastic , customers will be able to afford them. In other words , out of all
GW super heavies , they count towards the "smaller" products.
The bigger class of GW super heavies aka , Tyranid HIERODULE , Eldar Scorpion , and barely cutting it : The Eldar Revenant Titan and Imperium War Hound titans.
Asking for Thunder Hawk which costs £375.00 ( remind you the price is anywhere from 2x to 6x of other super heavy )
is not viable in any shape or form to be produced into plastic. This is why i brought up to the relation akin to GW pricing Great Swords to the steep price because ( less people will field them )

Valk = Really big success.
Ergo: Another flyer kit similar sized for most popular army (space marines) = Profit.
This flyer will be available for the Blood Angels and as time goes on, available to all marine armies as they are redone to maximise sale of new kit to those with existing fully stocked marine armies.
Not THG but this other flyer instead.

That is a fallacy.
Valks were released to coincide with the release of codex IG, where you had the option of fielding them in squadrons of three, with very good rules, being the first IG skimmer in years, Placed in Fast Attack, at an affordable cost in $ and an extremely low point cost.
Of course it is = profit
Thunderhawk? Big kit.......that you can use in Apocalypse.
I'm not saying they won't sell, but comparing them to Valks is flawed.

I'm very dubious of this rumor, but I can't say that I wouldn't be completely stoked if they finally got around to releasing one.
And a Warhound could be used by all Space Marines, IG, and Chaos Marine players. A much larger base to sell to, so if we're speaking economically it would make sense to do the Warhound over the Thunderhawk.
I want to see one but I don't think a Warhound fits... compared to the Thunderhawk, IG are the only additional army it accomodates. So between the two the difference is relatively small not "much larger"; going from 8 ( BA, SM, SW, DA, BT, DH, WH, CSM) armies to 9. IG already have their super heavy kits, they don't "need" another.
I think titans are uncharacteristic of these armies. While they've been present along side SM they've traditionally been outside the command structure of space marines. This was a result of the Horus Heresy, and not allowing a marine commander to wield so much authority as to walk away with a titan legion. You'd never see a Titan painted as Ultramarine. Its as appropriate as an Ordinatus, Termite, or Leviathan.
I'd love to see a Warhound, but a Thunderhawk deffinitely fits better.

I just think it's strange that in this months White Dwarf Battle Report, Nids vs Salamanders, The fluff mentions the Space Marines are waiting on a Thunder Hawk to arrive. Why say that?? They could have said reinforcements in drop pods or something like that. Is this just a cruel joke of Games Workshop?? I have seen in the past with other pre release models they have them in the back ground and you don't know if its a conversion or new model.

Honestly I can’t see why GW would even consider creating a plastic thunderhawk. Granted I'd buy one if I had to sell my own mother to procure the funds like any other GW addicted *tap*tap stick the plastic into my veins wargamer worth his salt would. But let’s look at this somewhat logically for a second... A thunderhawk (unlike a valk) can not be fielded in regular 40k...because it would just be obscene. So were limiting its usefulness to friendly games, and Apoc... How many people play Apoc more then 3 times a year? And out of all those people who do, who will buy more then one. Say it comes in priced at 350. For that price you could invest in a bunch of smaller GW products. I just don't bank on GW creating a massive model, which will sell few boxes. When they could put the time and resources into other smaller models, and make the same money by selling more kits.
Now a smaller (Valk Like) Marine Lander... that id kind of believe, because it can sell for 100 bucks. And people will theme an entire army around it... Vet mounted in Valk Guard anyone?
That being said IF the do release one… my Mother will be listed in the Dakka Swap shop!⨪

I imagine there are a great many people who would buy Thunderhawks simply because of their 'holy grail' status, i.e it's something they've always wanted but never been able to obtain. The original lead and forgeworld resin ones must have sold to such people so it only follows that there will be more folks who can afford them just for the joy of finally owning one once it's in plastic.

Pff...Space Marines. I know an army which would gladly use such a giant transport flyer and they don't wear Power Armor.

No I don't think there is any validity in this rumour at all. 2. What has been seen/rumoured to be a Thunderhawk is actually the Tantulus Lander, everyone just assumed it was a Thunderhawk.
That's what I think.
As much as I'd love to see a plastic Thunder vulture ... eh, I mean Hawk, red is usually right with this sort of thing. Still, I like the idea of a flying marine transport. Looting one that is.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. I would rather see a plastic warhound than a thunderhawk. A warhound is easier to handle game wise than a thunderhawk since 90% of the armies out there do not hace any AA in enough numbers to counter act it unless they nurf its rule horribly. It would be just like adepticon glatator tourny again with nothing but reavers on the board. Most people have stompa and baneblades some where but when a person drops down a thunderhawk or two it is just like a reaver titan or a manta.

A plastic warhound woudl be nice, but it woudl result in SO many popping up in games and, i think, would ruin the exclusivity of owning a titan.

Surely any new plastic superheavy kit would have to roll ( or fly) out alongside an actual apocalypse launch. Battlemissions is both codex sized and priced and, I believe, not strictly geared towards Apocalpyse battles as such.
