leroy is still focusing on not letting go of the man and hears adrian calling over to me.
"adrain, he was trying to escape, either we all escape, or none of us do, im not lossing anymore men"

"i wouldn't dream of it, i just want to give him a warning, do you have anything that will cut?"

i have some scrap metal know one wants to touch a ghoul
so it was the only thing i have

"well, i'm going to wait untill he responds first"

Trying to think of an explanation of how he got into the Raider's cage, Greg missed Leroy talking to George, although he did see a flash of something metallic in the ghoul's hands. Greg could remember making camp and then waking up in the cage, but he had no idea how he got there.

"well, i'm going to wait untill he responds first"

Shaken out of his musing by the commotion by the edge, Greg walks over cautiously, watching for Raiders. It wouldn't do to get killed because two ruffians couldn't keep there hands to themselves.

"Hey, be careful, don't want any raiders to see the commotion, eh?"

"do you guys have anything that will restrain him? like rope or something? im not holding onto him forever

Can someone briefly summarise what's happened so far for me, i haven't had much time recently for this and will start contributing now once I know what's happening.

(OOC: well, we are all currently in a cage, im stopping someone from escapeing because we should all escape together)

The commotion near the bars was attracting attention. Two Raiders were looking over, they would want to watch any fights that happened, and if they came over they might see the bars... bending rusty bars meant the rust cracked, revealing metal below, telltale glints which a sharp eyed Raider might see. Get them away from those cracks, get a brawl going further in... only way.

With a sudden leap he was on Leroy, dragging both the ghoul and the man away from the bars and onto the floor, in the moment of surprise he had he hissed at Leroy "Raiders are coming, we need to fight now, I'm on your side, but sorry, this has to look real!"

With that he lunged sideways with his elbow, catching Leroy on the jaw, not too hard, but hard enough to draw blood on the corner of the man's lip.

The Raiders were running over now, calling others, not looking at the bars, but instead at the fight playing out on the ground between the apparently raving ghoul and the shocked man.

leroy still shocked to him it seemed the ghouls were ganging up on him until he heard one of them hiss
"Raiders are coming, we need to fight now, I'm on your side, but sorry, this has to look real!"
a few seconds after he gets an elbow in the face, leory backs away wiping the blood from his lip, smiling at the prospect of a good fight he runs at the ghoul, leroy swings his fist, and punchs the ghoul in the gut.
"you brought that on yourself" leroy said with a smile.

George could have laughed as the man drove his fist into his gut, an area that barely worked and definitely had no nerves in it. Still, the blow rocked him backward and George threw himself with it, flying back half the length of the cage, leaving scraps of dead flesh clinging to Leroy's hand. With a deft flip he was on his feet, holding himself low in a wrestler's crouch and grinning insanely, growling and spitting, looking like he had gone half feral, before the Radier's could get too close he winked broadly at the others in the cage before letting loose a howl and leaping back into the offensive.

Nothing got the fear and panic out of the system like a good fistfight.

leroy looking at the ghoul that seemed to be feral, he picked off the dead skin from his hand and stared at his opponent with a burning anger.
"well now, this is getting interesting" leroy said as he readys himself for the ghoul to strike again.

As he launched in, George threw two wild swings with his left then his right, which were easily dodged, hoping to lull him into a false sense of security, the wild ghoul just lashing out, then without warning he brought up his knee, driving it into Leroy's side, then grabbing hold of the guy and snarling

"Side of the head, hit me now, you need to win this fight quick before the Raiders start using their guns on us."

leroy replied with a smile on his face
"with pleasure" as he brought up his fist, and caught the left side of george's face bringing it crashing down.
the ghoul lossens his grip on leroy, and falls to the floor
"that will teach you to mess with me" leroy said as he walked off, back into his corner of the cage.

Seeing the fight break out, Karek couldn't help but smile. Knowing it was nothing but a diversion from the real problem at hand.

How on earth did that ghoul bend the bars?!?! If the raiders see that they'll just kill us on sight.

Not knowing what to do next Karek walked over to the corner of the cage and just sat down to watch the fight play out. Karek couldn't wait till the night came, he would be free once again.

Trigger, I'm almost out of here buddy, I hope you can hold out till then

As George lies unconscious the Raiders gather and then quickly disperse, grumbling. They are happy that the human beat down the ghoul, but wish they'd had time to make wagers or get involved a little. But they see a regular group of captives who have already begun to fight, no need to sow further dissension if they're already at each other's throats.

Karek watched the guards walk away. He turned back to George who was laying on the ground.

I best go wake him up

Karek walked over to george and kneeled down next to him.

"Hey george wake up...... yoo hoo george. The guards are gone," Karek said while gently nudging him.

"It's gonna be night soon, we can't afford to have you sleeping."

leroy stays in his corner, thinking about what to do next, waiting for the ghoul to wake up, and tell him his next plan, with him, leroy has a chance to be free.

Still kneeling over Geroge, Karek looked over at a man who called himself Leroy.

"Did you have to hit him so hard Leroy?" Karek said in amusement.

Maybe this was another person Karek could learn to trust. Only time would tell, Karek was getting out of this cage one way or another.

looking at the girl who called me by my name

"well, yes, i had to make it look realistic, and your the first who called me by my name, thank you"

leroy looks over to the uncontinus ghoul, as a smirk appears on his face.

"i forgot what it was like to be in a brawl, that was a good fight" leroy says while picking the ghouls skin off his fist.

Leroy looked so proud of himself. Which made Karek sigh.

Prehaps he's one of thos all brawn and no brains type.

Karek went back to trying to wake up George.

"God Damn! Wake up George, I'm not gonna do this all day!"

leroy after failing to make a good impression, walked over and tried to help karek wake up george, he whispered to himself while staring at him.
"im not leaveing you here, im not losing any one else, not after i have been through"
leroy keeps shaking him, and doing what little first aid he knew to help him gain continusness
"WAKE UP DAMN IT!!!"

Hearing Leroy's whispers caught Karek off guard.

Hm maybe I was a bit too harsh to judge him.

Karek realized that he wasn't the only one in the Wasteland with a story. Many people in the Wasteland suffered not just him and it was selfish of him to think he was the only one with problems. How he wished things were back to how they used to be. Those better days.......

Curious to Leroy's story, Karek gave in and said.

"Leroy, I couldn't help but hear you. What exactly have you been through? If you don't mind talking about it that is."

leroy gives up trying to wake up george and hears karek say some thing.
"Leroy, I couldn't help but hear you. What exactly have you been through? If you don't mind talking about it that is."
leroy looks into kareks eyes and for a few seconds he could have sworn he saw himself in that boy, smiling at the boys words leroy thought for a few seconds as to how he could answer.
"well, through out all my life, i have seen people die in front of me, in my childhood, i saw my parents die, my friends die, all killed at the hands of supermutants, i was found by a few merc's they decided to take me with them, i think that was when i was 17 or 18 i cant remember, any how, i survived in the wasteland by being a merc doing whatever i was told, but there was one thing that my comrades admired about me, do you know what that is?"
leroy looks at karek with a questioning gaze.

Getting up from the patch of floor he had thrown himself into during the fight, Greg watches the two men conversing over the ghoul's body.
They seem rather agitated. Do they realize how hard it is to put a zombie down? No, not zombie, he's obviously not feral...not yet anyways.
Looking over, Greg notices several people still unconscious on the ground. The closest is a slim, raven haired man, whom Greg tries to wake.

i was a former merc was with a bunch of ghouls but they went feral and i think you know the rest
so thats my life only friends i had i had to killed. what is your guys story

Shifting slightly George returned to wakefulness. The blow had been hard and George had felt so wound up that he had tensed, which had caused it to be more potent than it could have been. He was tough, but he could still go down.

Muttering under his breath he arched his back, hearing his spinal column clicking and then the headache hit. Nothing much in terms of pain, but it made him a bit foggy and that wouldn't do. He needed a clear head.

"Any water in this place?"

Stupid question. He'd found old Raider haunts with skeletons in cages, bottles of water just out of reach. Suffering was amusement to those bastards.

"Never mind... how long was I out?"

leroy looks over to the ghoul with a smile on his face.
"ah, you awake, you wern't out long, i was just telling my story to karek, you want to hear it too?"

With a wry grimace George sat up and stretched.

"Well as much as I'd like to sleep this day away I know that if I left you two alone it'd be anarchy in here. Looking at Leroy he nodded slowly, tell me your story. Just don't expect to hear mine yet. There's some stories should be saved for peaceful camp fire talk, when time can be spent and reflection comes more easily than in the close confines of a barbarian's toybox."

Looking around he noted that it had gotten fairly quiet again.

"Did all the Raiders go? Nobody noticed the bent bars?"
