I told you the ankles would be thicker in the final version.

Mind you, do you know what thin ankles mean to Japanese people?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

As noted, this is the "Soda Pop Style" - over the top anime is what they do...

I rather like it!

Lol about the sleeves . I think this is very well executed... I like the model sculpt much better than the original concept art, imho. It takes some of the crazy dimensions and tones them down to reality just a touch... and I think it's cool that they're going for a different look than pretty much everyone else!

Ok, anything yet about the rules for this game? All I've been seeing is a couple of resins and they're looking specail order at that.lenty of resin, but is that all?

Where are the metal miniatures for general consumption?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The sculpt is outstanding. Removes the awkwardness of the concept art, and the slightly thicker ankles are a definite win

There's no game planned as far as I know, and all their models are metal when they go into the store.

We actually do have a skirmish game planned, but we're still a touch too early in planning and development stage to reveal too much about it. We'll start talking about it more later in the year, when our model line is filled out a little more.

Dread is correct about our models. Often our previews will be in resin, fimo, or 'green stuff' but the final models are metal. We're working on closing the gap between showing off greens, metals, and painted models as a small company though we are sometimes at the whim of forces beyond our control.

Right now we have Candy and Malya available in our online store. Fiametta and Kenobo (picture below) will be available for order next week.

Also curious! I'm aware of the Chinese tradition of foot binding but was unaware of any particular significance in Japanese culture.

Oh and here's Kenobo.

Wow, I really like Kenobo! He looks like he's going to jump right out of his sandals going after some unlucky bugger

I'd also be interested in finding out more about the skirmish game once more of the miniatures are released. Will be keeping an eye out for it!

One would presume a butler's cuff as opposed to wizard's sleeve?

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

I love all the whining on the first page, lol...I mean imagine that, a miniatures company that specializes in over-the-top anime-themed models, is making over-the-top anime-themed models!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that Fiametta and Kenobo are now both available for pre-order at our Soda Pop Store!

I also wanted to show off the paint job that our new painter Vesa did on Kenobo.

Thanks for your support we couldn't do it without ya.

Your miniatures are fantastic. I'm loving the style and the attitude.

Also, Kenobo looks great painted up. Any chance of a painted Fiametta?
