Yeah.
Full disclosure: our tournaments in Columbia are getting better, but are still VERY small affairs (8-20)
Entry fee is usually 5$, and, while appearance and sportsmanship were recently introduced, they account for few points (5 pts/appearance 15 pts/sports out of 80 total) overall. It's not uncommon for people to do mild proxying.
Overall, it's a very relaxed environment. If you come out for one, we usually grab dinner and a pitcher (or two) after the tourney closes out.
-----
Looking forward to the tourney Saturday. Kaotik and I are def in, trying to nail down at least one more.

Looking forward to meeting you guys from Columbia. We have a pool hall around the corner from the shop that has great burgers and beer for afterwards as well.
We plan on hosting a 40k event once a month. The next one will probably be the last weekend in March as well. We are going to Atlanta on the 7th and the 13th for the a couple of their tournaments. Gigabites has a team tournament that promises to be a blast on the 7th. If you have a problem finding us call 864-855-4482 and we will set up a teleport homer for you.

I was wondering if the WYSIWYG requirements were absolute? I only really proxy combi-meltas on my Wolf Guards leading squads although a proxy is still a proxy.
I already planned to make them up before Ard'Boyz, but I need to order some IG meltas in order to make them. There is no possibility I can have this done overnight so I am kinda stuck. If this is a problem I can adjust my list, but would rather not if I could help it.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee. |

we are using the three mission for the 40k championship that are listed on the adepticon website. We are not sticklers on the WYSIWYG rules. We are using the adepticon faq for questions. The rest is standard RTT.

Blake and Charlie put on a great event-- had a blast! Terrain/tables are excellent, playing area was roomy, all the people were friendly, and the coffee shop was very cool. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.
