Not chrono trigger , Chrno Crusade
The main char was a Demon , a good one though , made contract with the main female char ( an inquisitor )
everytime he uses his power , it drains her life force away... eventually she died and Chrno locked himself in stasis i think

Im not too sure , i really think painting different armies require different kind of mind set.
TBH i have little to no stress while painting ork because... well if i mess up , they are ORKS no one cares lol.
But space marines... they are sort of like knights in space , anything gone wrong = stick out like sore thumb.

This thread cracked me up Luna, like the dread!

I was wondering because they all seem to share a similar sepia shade on them, metallics and skins especially, which really works!

I thought maybe this was an example of a really well painted model being lightly dipped, since the shading is so smooth, as opposed to a 1 or 2 color model being dipped.

Im not sure how to start on the dread ( no color scheme comes to mind ) and i wanted to make the clock look ethereal and glowing but i dont know how.

Ahh , me and some other forum member ( Fafnir ) swear by the product known as Vallejo Smoke.
If GW's holy grail product = Devlan Mud , then Vallejo we have that. ( PS if anyone doesnt have one yet , do yourself a favor and buy one... or buy a few :3 )
Its a miracle product and how it looks can be completely different depending on how diluted it is.
ALL my Ork's metal is done using that *including my killa kans / mega nob / deffkopta ( plus boltgun metal underneath lol ) , and we can see how many different shade it has o_o

Its sort of a tribute to old Dakka , known as "Tyranid Picnic" basically mixing minis with none related other minis :3

Painted can drop the resale value, but judging by your earlier works I think you're are safe. The truly sad part is that if you ever sit down and figure out your profit, you will only make around 50 cents an hour for amazing work, but the time for thinking about profit has past. It is clear to me now that you have a gift for painting, now you must prepare the dogs of war in the name of the Emperor, before the teaming leagues of your chaotic fans overwhelm this thread. Make haste to the painting table, I'll try to hold them here, but I don't know how long I can last against so many.

Guess the warmer weather means time to start painting again... Continuing with more Ork stuff waaaaa
