To be honest unless the standard of your work equals or eclipses that of the people who design models for games workshop its not going to happen. If it is that good though you should contact games workshop and try getting a job with them.

If you really have a good idea for shaping the SM chapters; post it in the rules section and see what others think of it!If you have come up with some incredible piece of innovation, people will thank you for it. Much less try to steal it.

I do agree with most other people in this thread however: You are not 21, you are just saying that to try and make your points more valid. This attitude = fail. Throw your ideas out to the web, see what happens with them, chances are that they will become better thanks to the input of others

If your stuff looks good you can probably get some money by selling it on Ebay but I doubt you would get that much or sell that many.

Like everyone else is saying show some pictures and we can give you some better advice. Until people actually see it for all we know it looks like a big steaming pile of s**t.

I got banned from warseer this past week for no apparent reason. Apparently, Philbrad didn't like the concept of me not caring enough about remarks made by a troll because of internet anonymity and the fact that for all I knew the guy on the other end was a fat 30 year old virgin living in his mom's basement...

And why hasn't anyone mentioned pan-fo? This is such a pan-fo situation!

I don't really know what to make of the situation. Props to Klawz for typing normally, though. It's strange to encounter a 21 year old poster who doesn't type coherently, and a 12 year old who does.

However as a 28 year old Freelance Illustrator, character designer, and graphics dude I can say with complete confidence.. If you have an idea, 3 other people had the exact same one at the same time you did, and who knows how many did before you.

I'm going to step in at this point and ask everyone involved in this thread to take a moment to refresh yourselves on Dakka's rules. Specifically, the one telling you to be polite. Lay off the name calling and the slinging off at people's writing ability.

As for the earlier question about Citadel parts, I think it is volume.. However it is my opinion that GS is a citadel part.... sooooo.... eh?

I was in a fantasy tournament several months ago where a guy scratch-built several models for his Daemon army using Green Stuff, including a big Lord of Change. No-one had a problem with it. Dunno if that helps you out.

Well GS is a GW product, I know some off brand late night version is out now, but I heard it is Fail. I won't even try a non GW GS, although I do use sculpy, but that is just for terrain purposes.

There are plenty of good, non-GW epoxy putties out there.

Half of the putty I used for Da Kommizork was a brown/white putty. I think it was by Reaper. It's just as good as GW's putty, if not better. Shame I lost it when moving back to Calgary.

Yeah and GW putty used to be grey stuff!

I figure the massive price increases of late are to pay for the dye used to colour the greenstuff.

GW's green stuff is Kneadatite repackaged into a GW blister. You can get the exact same putty from any number of places that are much cheaper than GW.

Really? More often than not in my experience, people that don't type well are young. Your mileage may vary of course.

People that lack good typing skills or bad communication skills could suffer form many things. Young Age, Language Barriers, Old Age, Not Caring, Rushing, Being a Marine(). Ruinous Powers, Daemon Possession, Having a bad editor, Faulty speech recognition software, Cocaine... Rum... .

Anyway point is I know plenty of adults that suck at typing, and spelling. Education levels play a bigger role than Age, and people that don't care to proof read, make mistakes and don'r care to fix them.

What we are not supposed to do is generalize, stereotype or nitpick. Also we were warned by a mod to knock it off.

I think at this point we need to focus on the original purpose of this thread and not knock the kid (12, 21, you are younger than me, your a kid) anymore.

Well diversion or not I would actually want to see what the guy has managed to cook up. I love space marines (not in the wrong kind of way) and anything new / different would be interesting to see.

I think his question/issue was resolved already, so its up to him to post his stuff. The fact of the matter is that there is a 99.99999999999999% probability that GW will not now, or ever, publish his rules, etc.

And for all ya'll making fun of him, think back to when you were young just starting the hobby. I think most of us had aspirations of doing just this at some point or another (especially the younger fellas). Especially when GW wasn't quite the cold, heartless, money-grubbing corporation it is today... Remember Citadel Journal and Chapter Approved? Yeah...

You are right that GW would never publish his rules and I don't want to see them but he did say he sculpted some stuff and I would like to see it.
