also, they cannot sweeping advance. This isn't good... the enemy can break away and rapid fire into them next turn, should the enemy survive.
Not sure about this (not an ork player) but don't mega nobz take 2 spaces in a transport, while normal nobs take 1?
MANz can sweeping advance. They are orks not terminators.
MANz do take 2 spaces in a transport. Fortunately a battlewagon has a capacity of 20 so you can take 10 Nobz or 10
MANz and they both fit. The regular Nobz could also fit a
kff big mek though.
I find 3 man
MANz all with scorchas in trukks are really effective. They are fast enough that if the transports get popped you are close enough to get in the fight within a turn or 2, and 3 scorchas will soften up most targets. The real trick to
MANz is to not put them up against terminators. Avoiding
str 8 and
ap 2 weapons is also helpful. The three man squads are great for slaughtering
tac squads or even assault squads. The place you don't want them to be is against squads with multiple power weapons, or squads with good invul saves.
That is where you throw the bikernobz.
Regular Nobz can take a bunch of combi rokkits and some ammo runts for the reroll so they can have some good ranged attacks too.
