I did receive a rather prompt reply, which at least is a nice change from most other companies out there whom I've had the distinct displeasure of trying to contact with various grievances. Daryl also mentioned he'd read this thread. So to that end, I hope I didn't come across as too petulant. But it was a present, you see, and I'm absolutely fond of my collection.

I'm considering simply lashing the case back together with epoxy glue and duct tape, which is what I did with my other case (not a KR product, rather a cheap hardware store camera case) when it suffered an identical integrity failure (that one was far more dramatic, I dropped it on a tile floor, flipping it twice over and shattering every single model inside it).

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Well, Daryl at KR promised to send me a new corner piece, which will help in the refurbishment. Also offered a rebate on a Kaiser, which I'm not in a position to take advantage of, but an outstanding thing to do.

I took down my original veridict, since it was both too harsh and upon closer inspection, it appears the damage is far more fixable than I originally thought.

If I do GenCon again, I may just invest in a Pelican hardcase for my minis and use it's internal foam to hold my existing Sabol trays as needed...

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Sounds like a result.

Glad to hear this! It's always in a company's best interest to respond to consumer issues with their products, especially ones like this where there was probably a defective piece involved. Would like to see a pic of it repaired once you've done so!

From the looks of it outstanding customer service also... Crunching numbers you cannot beat the quality/price of the KR card cases... sure you can find stronger options but at much bigger expense.

@Agamemnon2 your not petulant but you could have pissed KR folks with this little topic ehehe

Unfortunately, I don't think these are available in the states, right? That's a long way to ship a case!

Not sure if The warstore carries them?

Nope, Warstore pretty much only sells Sabol cases, IIRC.

Fair is fair dude. Their product let you down, and you feel it didn't live up to expectation or advertisement.

So tell them!

In my opinion, the hallmark of a good company is not how often they let their customers down, but how far they will go to rectify the situation.

Unless of course it's GW, in which case pissing and whinging online is an apparently excellent substitute for talking to them.
