I really like the new DE models, the old ones just made them look like bondage freaks rather than sinister and twisted killers. As for Duke Nukem, meh.

I knew that the DE were being released like 3 years ago when Ozzymandias said something about the greens being sculpted and GW doing a big WHOA... those are so cool.

Duke Nukem was my childhood hero, bad as it sounds.

Dark Eldar were a given for me. There's no chance on earth they were getting scrapped after all the fluff and stuff put into Black Library books and other forms of GW merchendise.

Well let's be fair here, considering the fact that 3D Realms got sued, and all but ceased production on the game and all of the issues, popping out the announcment like they did would be akin to GW coming out making new Squat models with the codex printed out section by section in a years worth of white dwarf mags, so new Dark Eldar models, while surprising for sure, can't be as big of a surprise can it?

I don't know. I sort of half expected DE to become a Forge World only range or dropped entirely, while the other half of me figured they would be out sooner or later given that they are a race in DoW.

However, I played the original Duke Nukem, before all you kids and your fancy "3D" nonsense. Literally so much has elapsed in the intervening time between Duke Nukem 3D and now that I don't even know how to respond. I downloaded Duke Nukem 3D on a freaking dial up connection! And that was NORMAL! I really don't think you can appreciate the sort of nostalgic shock that comes from realizing that something that was super cool and relevant what, 15 years ago? and went away is suddenly supposed to be cool and relevant again. Well, you can't appreciate it unless you were fully alive and aware at the original point there, and can count the women you paid attention to instead in the mean time...

Duke Nukem Forever wasn't inevitable. The Dark Eldar were.

I'd go with Duke Nukem.

Duke Nukem Forever surprised my more. I knew DE would eventually came out again. But I though that the DNF project was buried adn forgotten. I expected to have news of a new game for the saga in a couple or three years. But not Forever, right now.

I could care less about duke nukem, but the DE didn't really surprise me either.

Neither are particularly interesting...

Ya personally I was surprised by the new Eldar models, but I played Duke Nukem when I was in Elementary school. I would have never expected them to revive it. But I also never hear about Dark Eldar either haha.
