You open your eyes, and look up into the Chaplains firey eyes.

He takes his mace, and waves it around your shoulders saying The Prayer of the Emperor.

Chaplain: "Brother, your squad will be departing on an important scouting mission, may the Emperor watch over you..."

You quickly rise, and bow to him, then make your way to the armory, thereyou can choose to outfit your squad with...

You pull back the charging handle on the boltgun and grin, "Lets go brothers."

You and your squad step into the drop ship, and prepare for your descent.

Under the cover of night you are undisturbed, and land near a Chaos Shrine.

You flip down your Night Vision Goggles, and raise your boltgun, giving the squad the "Follow me command".

As you move through the night you stop at a small outlying cult meeting, only a mile and a half from the objective, do you...

A: Order the open fire.

B: Attempt to evade the men, and move through.

As you cower in fear blood splatters around you and a hulking green mass with red eyes appears at the cage door.

Laughing manically, Kaltos drags the screaming Guardsmen into the noxious vapor with him, continuing his tune.

As you enter the mist, you begin to see swirling green waves around you, the guardsmen begins to shriek.

After a few seconds it is gone and you find yourself on a Ship.

You are standing in front of a lord of Nurgle.

Lord: "I see you are the only one left from that....drop.."

You nod your head and show the guardsmen to him.

Lord: "Ahh...good...good...I shall let you keep him as a "Pet" for your deed."

You: "Thank you m'lord"

Lord: "Go to the armory, there is a....present waiting."

You drag the poor guardsmen to the armory, where you find a suit of power armor festering with rot.

You grin and have it put on, then grab a boltgun.

You are told to report to the lord again in 6 hours, in that free time you go to a sorcerer for your guardsmen.

Do you....

A: Have a plaugebringer possess him

B: Have the mark of Nurgle placed on him so he is loyal.

The young guardsmen's eyes roll back until the white shows.

The sorcerer smiles and says, "I hope you enjoy your new toy..."

You bring him with you to the Lord and get your new mission.

You are to lead a squad of Marines into an Imperium fort, and then secure a bunker to summon daemons for your Lord.

Several hours later you are on the ground and begin your assent to the fort.

Your squad walks about 4 miles until reaching the bottom of the cliff, the fortress sits on top of it.

Do you..

A: Attempt to fight your way up the winding road to assault the main gate with brute force.

B: Rappel to the side of the fort, and blow the wall to enter through shock.

As your sliding, you pick off at least 4 targets before reloading.

You reach the bottom and take cover behind scattered rocks.

A: Give the order to advance, one by one while the others provide covering fire.

B: Stay in cover and attempt to pick off more targets.

Let's see if I can put my new toy to use... Here's an alternitive option; send my pet into the fort, allowing him to spread the pox of NUrgle, all the while bespelled to appear just as he was before joining our ranks. The defenders will be confused and plague-ridden, ripe for the picking. Shortly after the pox has spread through the Imperials, we shall blast through the walls and kill all within.

You send the soldier up to the fort, hiding his nurgle brand mark.

Then begin setting up camp.

Two days later, the soldier comes out, and confirms the spread of the rot.

You begin to walk casually up the winding path, hearing the screams of chaos within the fort.

You blast in the door, and your squad stands above all of the guardsmen.

A: Massacre them.

B: Get them to form up in front of you and try to make them loyal to you and Papa Nurgle.

Commander: "You think *Cough* you can defeat the might of the Emperor!? Well... YOU CAN'T!"

He draws his gun and points it at you in the shoulder.

The Laspistol shot does nothing to your mighty armor...

A: Show the men what will happen if you do not join... Pick him up by his head and crush it with your hand.

B: Put him on your shoulder so that he causes no more trouble...

His death may make him a martyr, if there is a Sorcerer in the group, I have him place the Mark of Nurgle upon him, proving that we can in fact, defeat the Emperor. If not, I flip him over my shoulder.

As you preach to the poor souls, a warp open up behind you and an old sorcerer comes out, flies and disease festering around him.

He motions for you to place the man on the ground...You hold him down.

The Sorcerer says a few words and thrusts his palm onto the Commanders forehead.

The mark of Nurgle appears as if it were to be branded on.

You: "As you can see.... the Emperor fails to protect even your "Strongest" men.. So... Join me... become undying.."

The crowd bows and you motion towards the the sorcerer and he begins to convert one by one.

After hours of converting, you have risen an army of 30 Traitors...

Do you...

A: Report back to your lord... He will be pleased..

B: Attempt to hide your "Prize" and call in that the mission is completed.

You report back to the Lord, leaving your most trusted Squad member in charge of the Fort for now.

He grants you the Mark of Nugle.

Your Armor is now polluted with flies, maggots and rot.

You bow down and report to the resting chamber.

The next day you depart through the warp to the fort, an Imperial counterattack is being made.

Several squads of Guardsmen, and two tanks are advancing up the cliff, all while basilisks rain shells down.

you form your men up in the bunkers of the walls, and begin firing.

Your squad gathers on you and your second in command says, "Sir, there is a battery up on the top of the Comm's tower. Perhaps we should use that?"

Do you...

A: Go up there yourself, and begin to reign terror down on the advancing enemies.

B: Put the trust into one of your squad mates, hoping they know how to use this Imperial weaponry.

C: Ignore it and assume positions.

Once again, I shall propose another solution: Perhaps a squad of Plague Marines (FEEL NO PAIN) can raid the basilisks, allowing the rest of the army to catch the Imperials in a sweeping advance. Better yet, have the traitor guardsmen lead the charge, I don't think any of them will be prepared to fight an army of their former brothers-in-arms.

Reinforcements may be called, but you will need to hold out until then, would you like to call for them, if so, what?

Kaltos sends for a nearby rotting vox-man, the pallid traitor shuffled over and handed the rogue Astartes the mic. Speaking in a voice thick with phlegm, he spoke, "My Lord, we require aid. The Corpse-Worshippers have camped out on hill, and are shelling us. I request two squads of Raptors to deal with this threat."

A voice replies back, "Order confirmed, and the line goes dead."

About an hour later 20 raptors come sweeping from the skies, most arms with melta guns.

A: Order them to fly up into the sky and dive onto the basilisks.

B: Take out the Lemun Russ advancing up the hill.

(Note: Both will require all 20 raptors so the squad cannot be split.)
