Slaughter in Space 3 (40k 2000pts) at Strategicon at the Sherriton Gateway Hotel near LAX. Side events include a Fantasy Team tournament and Bloodbowl Tournament.

September 3rd 4th-
SoCal Slaughter 5 (Fantasy 2500pts with limited special characters) at the Strategicon at the Sherriton Gateway Hotel near LAX. Side events include a Spearhead Tournament, Warbands Tournament, and Bloodbowl Tournament.

November 5th and 6th-
Slaughter on the Strip (both systems) at the Neoncon event at the Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel.

All of our events are circut events. I am trying to get a deffinative response from GW as to whether the Slaughter in Space 3 applies to this year's circut or next.

No 40k Smackdown event this year? Bummer.

Without going into much detail, we can't cover two events due to manpower and part of our arrrangment with Strategicon is to be at all three of their conventions. It sucks, because Henry and Adam were great to us, but we had to make a choice and this was the best longterm fiscal one. I reccomended some people to him, so I hope he still has a 40k event there this year.

Just curious, why no postings of South Eastern tournaments, in the two pages of post all I've seen is the mention of the dicehead in Chattanooga.

The Battle for Stones River just finished up this past weekend of the 26th. Was great blast.

Thanks for the list I just wish I could see something that is a bit closer to home.

Sort of on topic, are there going to be any full GTs in Baltimore this year? I have a friend there I like to visit and going to town for a GT is a good excuse for it.

Jwolf's PM said July 9-10 so I'm assuming he knew when his event was being held. Though your right if you're thinking of last year as last year it was in the middle/end of August.

Wargamescon is July 8-10. Flames of War Nationals are at Wargames Historical, at the end of August. The end of August was a conflict for GW gamers (NOVA), and July 8-10 is a conflict for FoW Nationals (Historicon), so I get to pay the hotel twice, but at least I get an FoW Nationals down here in Texas out of the deal.
