I'm going for a standard Grass/Sand effect as everyone knows how to do it and it would be easy to standardise.

I vote Urban too but I really don't mind at all what we end up with! I'll spread the word to some mates and see if they want to take part as well.
PDH I really like your marine, it will be a great addition to the group to have one in those colours!

Urban every time. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest a SHORTER timescale - get everyone while they're still focused. Also, I bet many of us can beg a bit of painting over Xmas as an impromptu present. How about Valentine's Day as a deadline?

As for the timescale. We can make it shorter but im just trying to get as many people to participate as possible and while we already have 14 obviously it would be good to have a lot more.
Hopefully when i post pictures of some of my marines in a few minutes it will get onto the Dakka project homepage and generate some more interest

Would everyone be happy with a Valentines day deadline

Just testing a post of a picture as Ive never done one before haha
Not the greatest picture quality

Also please dont judge this too harshly as this was done 10 years ago when I first started 40K

This is a picture of my Grey Apostles 3rd Company Captain

As for the time frame

We also have to keep in mind the guys posting a marine from other parts of the world which can take a while in itself

Maybe Valentines Day for a cut off for new submissions and then this will only go on Ebay and complete the project once all the Chapers have been received by me from their various regions

Sound good?

I'm going to vote for Sand and Grass, and I don't have any Urban basing stuff on hand.

Edit: Valentines Day sounds workable, but for inclusions sake, I'd go with longer over shorter.

Ok i reckon the time limit we can sort out later but maybe ure right a little longer might be necessary

I think posting wise, when you are done with your models, PM me and i will send each person individually my postal address
Dont want to really post my address on an open forum

Regarding the basing i think this cold be an area of contention so I reckon that since we are almost split down the middle between grass/sand and urban, I reckon we will go with those 2 ideas and you can choose which one of these you want to do

Anyhoo, I'd be up for painting a marine for charity.
