hell yeah, i didnt buy the set but own my fair share of clothed SM and next to a naked beaky the beaky DA is my absolute all time favorite...
and i really recommend the sprues of the DA set as they hold so much cool bits... not only standard weaponry and stuff like hooded heads but you get some gatlings for your terminators as well and also powerswords and all...the DA sprue is a really good find...
and hooded SM look alwas cooler...look no futher than BT or DA...
go an get them^^

okay- may I trouble you for a list of parts?
or at least how many complete SM can you make?
i'm leaning towards this:
head- FW beakie (RG upgrade kit)
torso/legs- DA clothed ones
weapons- FW bolters (RG upgrade kit)
arms- SM ones
thinking of DA bikes for my heresy-era biker squad...

take my word for it get yourself as much beakies as you can get, the army will get so much glamour from it^^
as i have seen FW has some cool looking stuff concerning bolters...if i am not mistaken the ubra pattern looks cool...
they also have some ace looking vet stuff...
as a dakkaite pointed out use some necron stuff for prostetics...

I am going to get it, just need to work out how many bits I need to get after.
Sanguard weapons, robed torso and legs, beakie heads and RG shoulder pads- sound good? Automatically Appended Next Post: BRAINWAVE!

had just found your link too... it is a bargain to get 10 marines for a mere fee of 17,50€...
maybe you have a look at chapterhouse too as they have some cool looking pre heresy stuff there too without the FW prices...

especially since I have cut up about 4 terminators for conversions- 2 TH/ SS ones for making a GKGM, a PW/ SB sarge for the body, and a AC/ PF one for practicing...I am low on some- now I only have about 19! I had enough for half the 1st company! (5 sternguard, captain of the 1st, 10 vanguard, 10 assault termies, 15 tactical termies)
just saw this:

might get one for lols...

so looked at the paintschemes for your SM chapter and it looks like a very decent one...if you can pull that colortone off that way i will like it no matter if it is still a bit orange^^...
two minor critizisms tho:
first your chapermaster Lenore is geared with jumppacks and still has the robe...i think flying units should be unrobed...could get messy with the backdraft of the jumppacks...and it is then also a matter of too much bling...
second the color on the termie scheme looks different, that might derive from the program, even if you had copy and pasted the exact nummer of the colour in both examples, normal and termie armor it might get mixed wrong by the prog... but if it was intentional then i suggest redoing it instantly as the tone of the orange looks crappy in my view...
one suggestion, for my DA succesor chapter the earth angels i directly used mecharite red, the foundation for the robes to save trouble and your design look like a similar color so i would just use the foundation red too...
this will look cool i think...

there's only 1 bits site that has them in stock, and it work out at £15 for the arms.
