The Ork Megaforce used to be the best deal around for GW, hands down. It came with 9 bikes, 40 boyz, a trukk and 5 loota/burnas, all for a paltry $200 dollars. Let's break that down:

3 bikes = 41.25, so 123.75 for 9 bikes.
10 boyz = 24.75, so 99.00 for 40 boyz
1 trukk = 33.00, so ... well, 33.00 for the trukk
5 loota/burnas = 24.75

for a grand total of $280.50. The megaforce saved you over 80 dollars, not counting sales tax where applicable.

That's why I ended up buying two XD

Yeah but that's just because bikes are ridiculously overpriced.

There are several codexes not up to date as we're in 5th ed and there's still a good mix of 3rd and 4th ed armies that need updates (Witch Hunters, Daemon Hunters, Necron, Black Templar, Tau, Eldar, Orks)

Megaforces are always better than any battle force in terms of pricing, so there's no comparison. DAs are also in need of an update, and their Ravenwing Battle Force is also a very good deal considering what you get in it (although still overpriced when compared to everything else. It is much newer than the other two though). Necrons, in terms of Battle Forces, have the best deal, since they're obviously the oldest Codex with a Battle Force Right now. Proportionally Tau has the second best due to it being the second oldest one with a Battle Force. Eldar, on the other hand, is still pretty competitive, so they do not need this hook to sell models. DA's Battleforce is only of an average discount since other SM armies can use it too.
