You see a medic leaning over you with delicate tools removing the spine from your lung. However, the wound is tainted, by something the medic cannot identify. With a start, you can feel your lungs swelling, healing, changing position in your chest. Your legs break, bending like a dogs. Your helmet breaks as your mouth splits as your jaw grows to acommadate a set of long serrated fangs. Your armour tears as your now massive lungs push themselves out from your back. You are no longer human at this stage, as you push yourself up on all fours. The medic screams, firing at you with his pistol. Filling your lungs with large amounts of air, you let out a piercing howl, making the medic fall to his knees and clutch at his head. Leaping atop the struggling man, you sink your fangs into his eye sockets even as he struggles vainly. He ceases his struggles as you pull him apart, his hot blood spraying your face like crimson rain. Now part of a vast and alien intellect, you are more than you ever were, a master hunter. You can see and hear through a thousand other eyes and ears. The prey has come to you, now the hunt begins.

(You are a mycomorph now, a Howler to be exact. You now have a howl attack to stun foes before leaping atop them for the kill.)

I look in the surrounding area to find a beast to quench my thirst for blood.

You look down at the body of the fallen Ghost 246, the thrill of bloodshed still vivid in your mind. Padding over to the Ghost, you sink your teeth into his chest, pulling out his steaming entrails, as he feebly struggles against you in vain. The Hive Mind speaks to you in a buzzing, liquid voice, interrupting your feast.

My child, the Host make their way into the facility, make your way within, and wait for their arrival. Your kin will aid you in the task of harvesting them for the Great Work.

OBITUARY
Dan, UN Sniper: Dan was killed in a fight with a decapitator, having shot off it's bladed tentacle. Sadly, Dan soon realized that they could still bite, and the decapitator lived up to its name. Fortunantly for Dan, it was just a training scenario, and he lives on in real life.

Ghost 246, Conclave Ghost: Ghost 246 was felled by a volly of spines from a Manticore, and was later eaten by his comrade Rex, who had transformed into a howler.

Crawling into a service chute, you enter the facility, the sterilely white walls and floors covered in a bizzare fungus, the offspring of the Hive Mind, those spores that did not find hosts, and now lay dormant, waiting for a chance to multiply. Another mycomorph shambles into view, a creature swollen with spores, and lurching to take position by the door. Then, the first of the Conclave soldiers begin to filter in. Leaping forward, the creature bursts, showering the room with spores, you still lurk in the vent, waiting for the chance to strike.

Landing atop a startled Enforcer, you claw and bite with ferocity, ending the kill by removing his head with your powerful jaws. Those that inhaled by the spores begin to change, adding more to your ranks. As more troopers enter the room, a presence comes with them. A psychic.
That one must be altered, ensure that he is blessed by our touch, lead him to your bloated kin, they will deliver our gift.

I run to the psychic, and let out a loud howl, then I start to run back toward my bloated comrade.

Covering his ears, the psychic stumbles into a swollen being, causing it to burst, showering him with spores. He screams as his flesh bursts with a number of blood slicked tentacles, which form a set of 'legs'. His arms and legs shrivel and atrophy, dropping off as the tentacles lift his in the air, his head bursting as his brain forces it's way outside, now swollen and diseased looking.
Child, you have served us well, continue to do so and we will shower you with more gifts.

I let out a quiet howl of appreciation to the hive mind. I proceed to look for more creatures to infect.

As you continue to lurk within the air vents, you see a small group of Conclave soldiers through the grate. They are looking rather nervous, and you can hear them talking over their coms.
"No report from Echo Group Kill Team 4, should we investigate?"
"Negative, stay put."

I jump out of the vent and start ripping the shoulders to shreds.

You leap, causing the four soldiers to cry out in surprise.

Landing on one of the soldiers, howling as you leap, you tear out his throat, silencing his screams. The others are simmilary stunned by your howl, and are easy prey.

I lash out in the direction of the nearest solider.

Turning in surprise an animated spine drops to the floor, coiling itself to strike.

You easily dispatch of the remaining soldiers, stunning them with howls before tearing out their throats with your fangs. Their blood is sweet to you.

I go back into the vents and look for soldiers i can help turn into members of the hive.

**Mordoskul**

As you lope through the vents, you come across a ghoul, looking about as he brandishes a reaper pistol in a one-handed grip.

I let loss a large howl and then jump out of the vent and then try to rip out the tendons in his legs.
