What about a gun bigger on the inside like the TARDIS?

That wouldn't work.. if you fired a projectile larger than the end of the barrel.. well, no more big gun for you.

The very tip of the barrel could the width of the projectile, with the rest of it smaller. Orcs do love powerful unstable weapons.

I second the giant shokk attack cannon idea but you need a big crane to lift cages of grots into the launch bay area and a treadmill up to the orkified star ring! that or some sort of jet engine to blow the grots out! ohhhh I'd have six spinny things angled in a dish like the death star world destroying lazer and some sort of wierd focusing ring maybe a second stargate umm I mean orkified star ring!

How about a 'Telyporta Kannon'? The unit embarks and then it can deep strike anywhere..

if its an ork telyporta youd need some rules for random things to happen on bad rolls. Just to keep it orky

Roll a D6 and apply the result to the table below:

1-6: the Telyporta Kannon has teleported the entire planet into a sun/asteroid/separate galaxy/Tyranid Hive Fleet and/or has blown up destroying the planet, and has also opened a warp rift so that Daemons can come and f*ck y'all up..
7+: Proceed as normal.

What about a mining station with a bomb ready to go down the shaft to the core of the planet? Easy to build and pretty awesome!
