What's all this 'Irish Breakfast Tea' business? Their tea comes from here, mostly.
I think it's named that way to appeal to that particular sector of the American public who would buy anything with the word 'Irish' attached to it.
Seriously, substitute the word 'haggis' for 'Irish Celt-mince' and you'd have a saleable product.

When I was in Amsterdam as part of my honeymoon, our first breakfast was cold sandwiches from the brown cafe next door to the apartment we were renting on the prinsengracht, and our second breakfast was an enormous crepe with chocolate and coffee.

I have to admit to being a bit perplexed as to why our friends across the pond seem to enjoy eating side dishes ment for dinner as part of their breakfast.
Broccoli?
Beans?
...I just don't get it.

I cannot focus if I do not eat breakfast and cereals do not stick with me so I go for hearty items like eggs, potatoes, and soy (in the form of breakfast patties or soy-chorizo). Ideally if I have enough time to cook before work I will make a breakfast burrito with egg white, chorizo and hashbrowns. With a little bit of cheese and salsa sprinkled in it is substantial enough to keep me satisfied until lunch and tastes like pure joy.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
