Only 3 inches thick...that seems pretty thin for all that glass/packing!

Yeah, everything is flat packed for efficient shipping on container ships. Oh...you may want to wear gloves for assembly, the all the glass surfaces (inside and out) will covered in fingerprints if you don't.

Thanks again AesSedai for all your help, helped seal the deal for me. My buddy, who lurks on Dakka, stopped by tonight and was joking that he saw my post and almost typed "Ok I'll drive with you to Ikea from Adepticon"....lol...so that solves that. Definitely going to pick a few (or 4 as he put it) up. I'll post my results/army packed in them after the Con.
