I would collect them (Painting in ULthwe) but I'm afraid my models would disappear into the base....I always like my bases to be a sharp contrast to my paint scheme so my models pop. But again, these look awesome and would look really good in an Iyanden theme (and fluffy too against a Nid player!).

What about red wraithstone?

But they are awesome anyway

I did a fair bit of research when designing these, have a look at the lines around the exhaust/air intake of the falcon, wave serpent, fire prism, war walker and the lines of the old and new support weapon platform and grav weapon platforms. These lines are more Eldar and have been around since before the Tau even came out as an army in 40k. Have a look at 2nd and 3rd edition Eldar. Just trying to help you understand.

It is interesting how often that comment comes up... and yet I agree, when you check out the Eldar models, the scribing is there on the vehicles.

Sorry man, i dont mean to offend... that was just a coment about the first impression i have when looking to them... For me they are suitable for eldar, some of the bases scream eldar, but there is the ones who suggest Tau more or so...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...

Really, really great Eldar bases.

Folks could probably use some of them for Tau too, as the Tau do have a few similarities with Eldar design, but these definitely are a closer match for the Eldar panel lines. I should get these when I finally re-do my Eldar army; maybe add some vines & creepers to really go all-out and get that extra level of color.

Tau or Eldar...these bases are great. I like to see that on occasion war/battles dont always take place in the static grass fields or rocky desert worlds of 40k!

Heh, I don't know .

Don't get me wrong though, if I were doing a Iyanden/Other Craftworld force I would be all over these. Hell if someone in my area collected an Iyanden force on these....I would buy a Nid force on the bases too just for the principle!

In fact, that's a pretty good idea.....make a Nid Stealer heavy army called "The doom of Iyanden"...with dead Eldar parts on the bases...hmmmm...what's another army right? RIGHT HONEY?

Hopefully a few people on dakka will pick some of these up for different armies, I would love to see nids/tau/other taking some eldar land in a fluff army or something.
