Kurgan grunted as his arm was forced down, he laughed haughtily as he brought it back up.

"A little jumpy are we? Don't worry, If I wanted to kill you, I'd have done so already. Its a reflex, a force of habit, can't be too careful."

Kurgan looked the figure up and down, sizing him up.

"What the hell is a seeker? Is that what gave me this.....ability?"

screeching pain enters your mind as the beast rejects your mind
your frozen in fear. you feel cold in fact your covered in ice from the nearby water

yes a seeker is a being sent to the spirit realm and brought back. they fight some sort of entirty that repesents themself. when they kill this entirty they lose half of thier soul but gain powers of the element they were born to
most go insane beacuse the soul is built on memories and those memories have a way of coming back. the reason why they are called seekers is because majority go back seeking their souls to be whole agian

Temlin weeps madly as he flails his arms about, then his panicked mind seizes upon an idea. He focuses on the octopus' blood, trying to force it back into it's heart.

the blood didnt force its way back into the heart but massive ruptures of internal blood begins to kill the creature. your return to the center and begin dusting off the center tile. you find a hole and a pearl

**Mordoskul**

Picking up the pearl, Temlin examines it, then inserts it in the hole.

a whirl pool swallows you and darkness similar to your death knocks you out. you awake to angry yelling nearby as you see your hands are bond, you look up to see a women in the clothe of a unknown religous order

Temlin weeps, his tears splashing the ground below. "I-i'll do whatever you want! Don't kill me!"

a being with only half a soul, they lose a half for elemental powers. they are called seekers beacuse the half they lose is all their memories. at first they dont care tell a drip of the person they were before taouches thier lips and then thiey are on a quest seeking out thier lost soul

(Let me get this straight, our characters lost half their souls in exchange for elemental powers, specifically the half of their soul with their memories? Just trying to be make sure I'm getting this right.)

Kurgan laughs bitterly. "Insane? Most think I am already insane."

Kurgan thinks of the stranger's words.

"The spirit realm? Pah, your saying that I'm dead? That's strange, this doesn't look like hell and I dont remember dying." Kurgan says flippantly

He stops there, he DIDN'T remember dying, he didn't remember anything the last thing he remembered was waking up in a cavern next to a golem, that was it, he knew he was a dwarf slayer that much had been ingrained into his psyche but what scared him was that he could not remember WHY....

Kurgan cursed harshly. in the Dwarf tongue, unless he could remember he would forever be recorded in the Dwarf records as one who had not fulfilled his oath, and that was the most heinous thing a Dwarf could ever do. His mind's hope grasped at the stranger's words though.

"My memories? You said I can recover them? How? What ends of the earth must I go to recover my soul?"

Kurgan: yes at themoment the only thing your character knowns about himself is his name and what faction he is. he didnt know he was trading his soul at first too.

hahahaha now you know why we call you seekers. and i dont know that no one does. i suggest going to where the first seeker was ever seen.(marks the map)
there are two other seekers in the camp, you wil have to wait to leave till they awake, go train with hansen, hes the one next to the blue tent

Kurgan was confused but satisfied at least to be pointed in some direction, he grabbed his axes and without another word left the tent to find where it was that the figure had told him to go.

By far he figured it wasn't the worst thing that had happened to him, the worst thing being......

He couldn't remember.

Kurgan cursed again in Dwarfish as he arrived at the tent next to the blue one. He kept his hand on his axe haft not knowing what to expect and entered, looking around for this "Hansen"

a tall elf looks you over and gets up and swings his sword at you

Kurgan's hand immediately comes up upon instinct with an axe in it, the blade of his weapon blocks the elf's sword.

"Oh your going to have to do better than that. You must be this Hansen I've heard of." Kurgan spat, he wrenched his other axe out and chopped it at the elf's midsection savagely.

he swords slashes your cheek and the froce drives you away, you put your hand on your cheek to find its not bleeding.

Kurgan reels from the blow but is astonished to see no blood coming to his hand. He laughs

"I guess having no soul has its perks" He says as he steadies himself. He notices his steadying hand has brushed up on something about his height, it is a large stone, very heavy. Kurgan's grin comes back.

"Perhaps you'd like to know what having no soul allows you to do."

Kurgan reaches out with his new powers and hurls the boulder at the elf.

the elf side steps the boulder and was shaken by the attempt.
"you idiot i blunted our blades via magic. nice try though"

a mysterous bleeze blows a some of the dark fog to the altar darking the light(hint hint)
