Personally, I think their best songs are either Atmosphere or Disorder. I like Ceremony quite a bit, but there's no decent studio version, which is a shame. New Order's version of it is stellar though.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to agree with Albatross on the overrated part, sorry man.
Trust me, when you hear them at the perfect moment, you'll understand. It's hard to come by, but when it happens, it's absolutely haunting. There's a time and a place for Joy Division.

There is some claptrap uttered on Dakka but the nomination for the White Album cover as one of the worst then the Mettalica statement, really some knuckles are dragging in the gutter.
I realise that musical taste is subjective, but good grief Charlie Brown...

I was never a huge fan of John Lennon either, but not liking the Beatles? Really?! As for Metallica, one time huge fan, but after they came out with 'Black Album Sandwich' I lost all interest, turned left at Slayer and ended up at the intersection of Hawkwind and the Doors.
