As someone who played a list with a ton of KPs I was a bit disheartened to see no objective missions.

Local GW tournaments ran by GW employees tends to be unbalanced. The tie-breaker HQ game is another perfect example. It's rare to find a GW employee who has ultra-competitive tournament experience. I'm not sure who ran this tournament, but all KP's missions is brutal against armies that have limited alternative builds.

It's funny you should say that, this particular GW store is run by a store manager who gets it, and runs great events. This particular event was run by a player, and was really designed as a "fun" event, and in that regard succeeded immensely. All participants were having a blast. The player who ran it donated the prizes, it had zero entry fee, and was a good time.

I will say that I agree with you, most GW stores are not run by people that get the competitive side and only drink the company cool-aid.

I would just like to say that spireland speaks the truth, Seth is probably one of the coolest GW managers. It was the player running the wonkey missions that in all honesty gimped a few armies right off the bat

4000 pts, 4000pts, 4000pts, 2000pts,
1500pts, (daemons)2000pts, 4500pts, 3170pts, 1500pts, 2500pts, 1850pts

Seth rocks, I second that. He is a competitive player himself, but also an amazing hobbyist and an all-around cool dude.

The gentleman running the event was awesome and he came out of pocket for everything, so good on him! He will tighten things up as he goes, and I commend him for taking the time to do it all.

And thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it. Good to be back writing bat reps! I just need to take some dang pictures, I always forget to do that.
