It would be nice to have updated tau battlesuits (xv8 and 88) and more tau auxiliaries that are actually worth taking.

Everything that really should be here, but that GW can't be bothered to make: Thunderwolves, Plastic Greater Daemons, Upgrade Packs (or something) so that you can actually model things WYSIWYG without much work. You get the gist.

I must also agree with this.
I think it would be good if Gw released 'upgrade' sprues for each army (like the dark angels sprues) that include things such as great coats for GM or variant marks of armour for SM or extended carapace/spines for nids. Basically a bunch of stuff you could add to your models to produce varience in yoru army just like the sprues with the cloaks for dark angels on. I know its not a model as such but I think it could be very cool. Its another excuse to make 'extra detailed/more expensive' resin kits. This woudl allow you to add more detail to your basic plastic models.
