Pfft. What happened to the theory that the lion turned traitor, luther killed him, but died in the attempt, and the watchers took them both to hide the secret? :(

The Angels have Luther anyway. They use him to find the bad Dark Angels.

And Alpharius/Omegon isn't necessarily dead either. It could easily have been the Terminator captain (can't remember the name) disguised as Alpharius. Neither of them were daemon princes.

Rogal Dorn is either dead or wandering around the Warp with no hands.

The primarchs will never be used in game at least, their stats would be too good. In fluff, the Chaos primarchs are busy fighting each other in general, Fulgrim is on Orgy Planet and Alpharius/Omegon is infiltrating the Imperium or something.

He went missing when Caliban got ripped apart. Unbeknownst to everyone, he somehow ended up sleeping in the middle of what's left of Caliban, and has stayed that way ever since. The Watchers in the Dark know where he is, but they're not talking. Luther *might* know where he is, but Luther's not exactly sane these days and all he'll tell anyone is that he's waiting for Johnson to return. Ciypher might know just because he's Cypher (and no one knows exactly what Cypher wants and/or knows). And no one else even suspects.

Not sure where it says he is sleeping but i'm fairly certain that is the accepted fluff...

It's been that way since at least the 'Angels of Death' codex.
