Been trying to find matches for beginners as well because I don't want to get massacred. I play the PS3 version so this is an entirely new game to me.

Snipers are really only good on offense if you need to eliminate enemy snipers/heavies/medics and break out.
Sniping in TF2 is very easy to rack up some kills, but difficult to actually help your team properly.

Yeah, that's why I hear so much about 'fail snipers'. Combat Engy and Combat Medic are two favorite ways to run those classes where I go to school.

Is it normal to begin downloading it and be told it'll take 11 hours?

Just check and now it says 2 hours. Heh I was worried.

I do like how you can pause a download and it'll restart when you next open steam. I had been meaning to get it for a while but this is a cincher for me.

Edit: now 5 hours

Is that elitism I smell?

Shhh... he doesn't realize the the MLG uses 360s.

Shhh.... this guy doesn't realise they use PCs for any game not pushed by Microsoft to sell their consoles to try hards. Get a real gaming league like the ones in South Korea, they put the MS publicity stunt known as MLG to shame. LOL

Or you could be awesome like me and jump straight in with the Spy.

Have fun dying repeatedly what with all the new players playing Pyro.

Turn on Team Damage, that'll stop real quick.

Only with the new Pyros. Those of us who know how to use the Flare Gun will still light you up like a christmas tree.

As a Medic player, I can tell you that there is nothing. NOTHING more infuriating to me then when I get stuck behind a Heavy, then get headshoted.
