GW has raised prices nearly every year that they've produced models for 40k/WHFB, even in the years before they started doing their own retail chain.

GW increase prices year on year. I don't see GW changing that strategy if they closed their stores.
Inflation.
Shipping.
Raw material increase.
Gouging their customer base.
