Man, it's your bucks but am amazed anyone down under is still supporting GW
Nowt as queer as folk.

Rockerbikie, you must have money to burn, you could do worse than helping a poor Chibi stave off the cold and boredom this winter by making savings as suggested and donating the difference to Save the Chibi

I've stopped buying, and started painting...more than I was. Mix in WAAAAAY more video games, and you get what I'm doing at the moment. Planning to get back into it soon, though. After I buy some more nerf stuff....so, about Christmas. Then I'll either order from those internet freeloaders GWUK, or bitzbarn.com.

I've never seen a gaming store that wasn't just a pure model kit store (like HobbyCo, which is up the road from me a bit further than the GW is) or a combined catch-all 'games' store, with a shelf of 40K stuff next to the 3 billion different versions of Monopoly.

Eh, when Tin Soldier was in Wollongong, my brother and friends used to play there on their tables all the time. Guess it depends on the area.

However, I remember you saying you lived in Sydney, so I'd recommend making the trip down to Hall of Heroes even once to have a look. It's always packed with people playing, painting or just having a chat about the hobby, even now with the main area simply the gaming hall. The store is a small section off the side - not even the main entrance, which leads into the gaming hall. Not that they lack stock - the only game I haven't seen them stock that gets good word of mouth is Firestorm Armada, and I probably haven't looked hard enough for it. They even have a badass infinity table getting built.
