Been playing Rogue Trader RPG for a while, and I have to say that the book feels somewhat rushed...the system as such is very good, the basics work, I like the career path system, but there are lot of things which are explained somewhat poorly or confusingly. Errata's pretty long. And Psychic Powers are a mess, though Errata fixes them up a bit.

It's not a bad book, quite the contrary, but I think they could have used few more weeks to proof-read everything and think through few things better.

Glad you're enjoying it.

You have no idea. I've been going over Black Crusade the past few days with a very fine tooth comb, and wow are them some amazingly silly mistakes in here that I noticed just from the first reading. For instance, did you know that there are five types of critical damage. Sure, it only lists four of them, but it says there are five. There's one critical result that has you make a Toughness Test... for no apparent reason. There's no information on what happens if you pass. Or if you fail for that matter. It's really strange.

Makes it fun to read though.

Well my gaming group (we're about 8 people) have 3 ongoing campaigns, one's a WHFRP, second's a Dark Heresy and the last one (which i am GM'ing) is a Deathwatch, and honestly i love all of the games, where you can play Deathwatch when you're in a more Shooty shooty killy killy mood and you can play the others when you are in a real RP mood

It is my great regret that we live in an age that is proud of machines that think and suspicious of people who try to.

Heh, I see. I also played Dark Heresy for a bit, though not long enough to form an opinion. In terms of rules clearness and layout, WHFRP is way ahead, but of course it is much older and more mature game and has had time to polish the rough edges.
