Good Sir,

Nowhere on this forum have you found me mocking some of your favourite pastimes. Please do not mock mine. Toilet malfunctions can be very critical if we are a long way from starbase and the replicator is stuck on "ground beef and bean chili."

Thank you.

Be sure to roll for the red shirt who has to clean up.

I rolled a "7" which indicated Ensign Mitchell but according to the chart he was in forward engineering when it was exposed to hard vacuum. Looks like he got off lucky!

Seems about equivalent really, what with the screaming, tears, and all the oxygen being sucked out of the room, just like in Forward Engineering.

Which is why everyone jumped ship when better systems came out. There are a few die hard sadist who care about recording toilet malfunctions after a torpedo hit but most of us have moved on. Add to that it's made by Mongoose which not only looses licenses but lies about why they loose them. Just like Babylon 5.

What was the 'Lie" there? I have to admit, I got frustrated with Mongoose's treatment of the B5 license (the ACTA: Armageddon-class giant miniatures that didn't really fit in was a big thing) but it seemed that there wasn't a lot of interest in B5 since there's no real B5 projects publicly announced at the time. (JMS keeps hinting there might be something at some point, but to be honest I don't know if he 'gets' why fans liked the original B5 any more.)

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

I feel that way about GW stuff some times as well. I admit I would have liked to have seen a little more work done on some of the line butI also get the impression these are a little larger than people are thinking.

Here is a TMP thread which has a pic of a shot of the size of the new constitution class compared to the old constitution class (adb's 2400 line)

http://theminiaturespage.com/news/talk/msg.mv?id=1571220981

I can't tell if the new one is based on a small flight base or not, which might give an indication of size.

I hope they do a Miranda Class ship for the federation, but haven't seen it mentioned.

No Miranda, that is a TMP era ship, and thus not available by license. ADB is limited to TOS, Cartoon, and Starfleet manual ships

And unless they changed things, the ships are 1/3125 instead of 1/3700. There are plenty of ships in 1/2500 scale if you do want to go that route, although obviously you will need a bit of room for fleet actions.

I'm not that much of a trekkie to know the differences in periods :-)

Ah well. I think that Cyporiean is right and that's a large flight base, based on looking at the preorders on Mongoose's site. I think I might prefer the old 2400 line ships, smaller and a touch cheaper.

Just as a side note, if I remember rightly, the original Enterprise was designed to fly the other way up but the studio couldn't get it to hang right...
