heck, Black Friday shoppers often kill themselves trying to get to the sales item. Anyone purposfully blocking their progress is just another smear on the Walmart floor.

And OWS protesters never think that it was actually the middle class maxing out their credit cards and buying what they couldn't afford that actually led to the recession. yeah, they shouldn't have such deceptive fine print, but its been common knowledge that you shouldn't buy stuff you can't afford. Shame on you for walking into a situation you knew would cause you problems. Dishonesty is one thing, Stupidity is another. Stupidity is preventable, Dishonesty is just a fact.

So this is how it went here in Central Oklahoma:

They did the open-mic thing at three other Wal-Marts in Oklahoma City, were asked to leave, and chanted all the way out the door.

Were asked to leave in Del City, chanted as they were leaving, got tackled by police.

Go figure.

The reasons behind OWS are secondary to the fact that getting between some of these people and their Black Friday bargains is ill advised.

DEL CITY — Ten members of the Occupy OKC movement were arrested on complaints of disorderly conduct Friday morning, police Capt. Jody Suit said.

About 2 a.m., police officers working off-duty security jobs at the Walmart Supercenter, 5519 Tinker Diagonal, called for assistance because the protesters were causing disturbances in the back of the store, Suit said.

Arrested were Destiny Smith, 22; Jay Vehige, 21; David Grandstaff, 21; Sean Lovell, 25; Christopher Thomas, 33; Mark Faulk, 55; Bronwyn Agnew, 23; Helen Lavictoire, 27; Cassandra Lavictoire, 27, and Griffin Lavictoire, 19. All are from Oklahoma City.

All are members of Occupy OKC, according to a news release from the group.

The news release states that the group was at the store doing “mic checks” to show support for employees who had to work on Friday. The group claims several were tackled by officers during the arrests.

The “mic check” is an exercise in which one member of the group shouts something and then the others in the group repeat what the speaker said.

Faulk said he was filming the others who were involved in the chant. Faulk said the protesters were asked to leave when they were shouting “Buy local!”

“Del City police ran and started tackling people from behind,” Faulk said.

He said he shut off his camera to walk out and turned it back on to videotape a protester on the ground. Then a Del City officer tackled him from behind and handcuffed him, Faulk said.

Suit said one of the protesters was booked on a complaint of resisting arrest.

The protesters were taken to the Del City jail and booked on the misdemeanor complaints. No serious injuries were reported at the store. Five protesters were still in jail late Friday morning, Faulk said. He said he posted $565 bail and was released.

“I am honestly just shocked by the behavior of the Del City Police Department and the Walmart management,” Faulk said.

LOL anyway. One...in red flanell shirt avoided the cop that was approaching him by switching over to another "aisle" Anyone see that? Because I'm sure the officer was speaking to him but "Shane" increased his distance from the officer. Two, probaly off duty law enforcement saying "He all yours" after the distance was reveal. Notice how far ahead he was? As for the rest of them saw how they veered away from the take down and the command "All of you stopped". End of film.

Anyway...MW3 is not local...but will it stop any of the males from buying it?

I was actually thinking....the..video was perhaps...the lady pepperspraying to ensure she gets her Xbox360 before the others.

However, someone in the Bay Area was shot over presents, and someone in LA peppersprayed 10-20 people at a Wal-mart.

Everyone knows that people with:

1. Medical Bills should simply choose to die instead of going into debt.
2. People with Rent should choose to live in a park in a tent instead of going into debt.
3. Car repairs? Simply hitchhike to work instead of going into debt.

Also, if the Middle Class was maxing out simply on consumer goodies, who do you think was encouraging them every single step of the way? Perhaps you didn't know, but 70% of our economy is built on consumer spending. If they weren't maxing out, we would stil lhave huge economic issues now.

The big box stores love that gak. They want every employee to push their store credit cards and help to create a "credit culture" as they put it.

If you ever start to argue from a realistic position let me know, sheesh. At least SOME of the people in the OT are at least based in reasonable ground I simply disagree with.

hhmmmm
1. People are going to bypass medical bills for food on the table, heat, and vehicle fuel
2. Rent is going to be paid first so they have a place to put food on the table, heat, and a place to park their vehicle
3. Car repairs be based on "how much" actually its going to find a ride with someone nearby that works with you. Grumbling cause you have to wake up earlier then what your use to.

Thats how I view it. To me thats more reality

I am quite confidant that the people going into debt because they had no choice to are far fewer in number then those who went into debt because of buying things they couldn't afford. Those who bought stuff they couldn't afford may now be going further into debt to get the basics, but they originally got into trouble because of living beyond their means. Thats how the Great Depression started, because of the Roaring 20s. Thats how this one started. unbridled growth throughout the 90s and early 2000s.
