Delephont wrote:I'm not feeling this at all. For me, if you're going to sculpt a naked female then lets get the proportions right....ok, everyone looks different, there is no "absolute" when it comes to sculpting humans, we come in all shapes and sizes, but this woman just looks like an over-weight town dweller and not someone who'd likely get captured for any reason, not even to be a pleasure slave. I'm affraid, in reality, given the horrors of war, this poor unfortunate accident of genetics would more likely end up in the gutter with a round through the back of her head, while her more attractive and in better shape sister gets carted off as the "prisoner"....... Especially considering her face, her parents might just have been brother and sister. Now she isn't really fat, only has something of a fat butt. But this is a case of bad sculptor who wants to show boobs or a world where having chin armor and no shirt is normal.

This particular figure doesn't do a thing for me. I agree that the proportions seem a bit...off...HOWEVER...some of the other figures are pretty fantastic. Loving the Troll/Giant. It's pretty awesome.

I like large posteriors and I cannot prevaricate.
I like the model's honesty. Proportions are much closer to real world women I see every day. There's got to be some well-fed ladies in the far-flung world of only war!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Patricia is not to bad. Why she is playing with herself I do not know but her shape is pretty good.
Female Comissar doesn't really look like a Comissar.
Girl in stocks isn't bad either though her shape is more suited more towards the black girls I know.
The Captured Renaissance Girl must have had an Eldar or Elf parent as her face doesn't look quite right.
Ma55ter_fett is right about the prisoner pic talked about above - those are some serious birthing hips.
Just looked over the other items on the site - overall not bad. There is some pretty good stuff in there - others not so good, but still. What is the reason for the Kobold with lamp though? Its like a Dwarf and a Kobold mated and this thing came into being.

The proportions don't seem terrible to me (though maybe that's just because the last mini I looked at was GW), but combined with all the other bizarre choices the sculptor made it definitely falls into the "no" category for me.
Look, all you horny old sculptors out there: If you want to sculpt chicks with boobs, sculpt chicks with boobs. The human body is a beautiful thing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with depicting it. If you feel like you have to justify your depictions with bizarre power armour on the arms and legs that has been torn for no discernable reason then you're just going to undermine your entire premise.

I don't mind that model so much, and it might be a good addition for my pain token collection, except I have to agree with a previous poster: not enough male slave models. The DE fluff talks about taking slaves, but I thought the general use was for watching them die, not breeding or "softer" pleasures, though I'm sure that happens. I just need more equal opportunity slaving.
Patricia kinda weirds me out. For whatever reason I'm okay with "Nude assassin with a BFG." But I'm less okay with "Nude assassin with a BFG fondling herself." The whole point to being a nude assassin is to disarm male targets, is it not? So what, now you're putting on a show? The hesitation advantage is lost once they see the gun.

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

Nekkid chicks aren't really the kind of models I'm looking to buy, but there's some other cool minis on his site. I can't say I've seen a homage to The Stig before.

Biggest issue I have here is the outright vagueness of the site.
No prices? No direct action or directions to buy? uh....
I'd like six skinhead chicks for a 1.00. 3 of the one three of the other?
anyone got any from them, yet? how was the order process, how do I figure out how much we're looking at here? etc.etc.
Good looking figs, bad looking site.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

@ Grot,
The process is very simple - you have a look at the price list, decide what you' ld like and then email Igor directly asking him what postage would be. He replies, tells you the PayPal address, and (once paid) sends you out your minis - took about a month for my Power Armoured Trooper and Commissar to arrive.
Quality - fantastic !!! See the piccies on the website...that's what I received...minimal flash, great casting and good detail. Little smaller thatn 40K scale, but not by much.
Also, he has a new model in the works which I will be definitely picking up... Enclave Advanced Power Armour!!!

I have to say that the model overall looks OK, though the face seems a little strange.
Also like Girl in stocks and Joan the captive girl - they look pretty cool
Just wish you did a few more 54+ mm scale figures.
