That's an interesting conversion for wraiths. Kinda gives me an idea now...
Anyways, looking good so far! I do like the Lychguards.

Ok long time no update over the last week or so I've finished off a few more things including the ghost ark, which quite frankly has been the worst model to build and paint ever (I have a second but am saving it to trade in for a trarch stalker when they get released).

Wraiths with Particle Casters

2 Despairteks with Veil of Darkness (attempt at source lighting)

Ctan Shard (put it on a 60mm base to give it more stability)

Oh and the Ghost Ark

Thanks for looking.

Looking good there! Was the Ghost Ark terribly difficult to build? Was thinking of getting one to build a Doomsday Ark at some point.

This is probably the final update for this army as I'm currently working on a new army (slowly as I keep getting distracted by other systems). So here is my Triarch Stalker

So for this army so long and thanks for all the fish.

Looks like you got a nice towel to keep with you.
For the sake of size comparision and to desplay your army how about a group shot?

Thanks for sharing with us your Necron stuff. It's been an inspiration and great to view them. I hope you'll come back to them one day.

Really liking the idea for the Crypteks mate. Again, think I may have to shamelessly magpie some of the ideas for my army.

I share the exact same feelings towards failcast as you do. I believe that every finecast model I have received has either a number of imperfections in it or worse still, doesn't fit together properly in any way.

After shelling out the somewhat 15-20 quid for a Nightbringer today, I have had to use a lot of green stuff to smooth between the lines in which the model is just missing areas.

Quite frankly, boosting prices by such a ridiculous amount and churning out this finecast crap is going to lose them a lot of customers.

Thanks for the great Cryptek ideas. Going to start theorycrafting now!

Love the deceiver's shard, his pose and face is hilarious in my opinion.

In the words of the feeling ' I thought it was over, but it's not' with 6th edition arriving and some sales of unwanted projects I find myself eager to play 40k and try out all the new rules and get into the mind set (also helps with building my new nid army). So with the cash in paypal and a voucher from maelstrom games (and a months fething wait) I bought 2 Sycth kits. Then came the decision what to build them as Doom or Night the answer? Both careful application of magnets and steady handed drilling has left me with 2 Sycthes that can be fielded as either version.

Can't wait to try them out!
