Wow, thanks for all the feedback. I have been painting like mad before work and my brother will load the finished pics up shortly. I think with some paint on them you will see that they work a bit better as a whole. I am still not rigid about anything as like I said I am trying to wear 5 hats at once at the moment. I do my own sculpting, sketching, mold making, casting and painting so I was need less to say feeling a bit of burnout which is why I had to get these pics up so I could get some feedback and my second wind.

I do plan to sell the legs separately not long after the Destroyers are wrapped up. I would like to have "iconless" legs modeled and a few more poses first though, but that will move quickly.

I will also vary up the kit in the future based on feedback. New weapons and eventually torsos with head sockets and no gears. I really wanted to keep the kit simple at first as I assumed it would be kit bashed heavily anyways.

Magic you are correct in your door inquiry.

And I am shocked at the positive feedback on the large mech demon, I hit a motivational roadblock as he was irritating me and I wasn't sure if anyone would even dig the idea. Consider a fire lit

Thanks again all, will be on after work to respond a bit better.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it needs pointing out that throwing fits about 28mm scale boobies is in no way more mature than liking them.

I'm liking the mech torsos. The rest isn't particularly my taste, but is fairly well done.

My hanging my head in shame at the way my chosen community occasionally displays itself to the world is completely irrelevant to the impressions of people outside the hobby.

You can enjoy that aspect of the hobby. That's your opinion and your choice. Just like its my opinion and my choice to denigrate gratuitous and unnecessary tits and ass. That doesn't make either of our opinions wrong, just opinions. And I think its ridiculous, its that simple. If you enjoy that... aspect... of the hobby, please continue to do so. We'll probably never cross paths, so to each their own.

But I still wish that sub-community within our hobby would grow the feth up.

That is a rather old broad generalisation that you are using but when you get down to it there is more unnecessary tits and ass in 30 minutes of popular music videos then seen on most wargaming battlefields. There are hell of a lot worse things to do out there then to paint 28mm scale D cups.

Really it is the sub-community of whining wowsers like yourself that need to grow up. If you don't like don't buy it, don't paint it, don't play it just don't tell me not to get it because you don't like it

My feelings on the models haven't really changed, but I've got to say that those paint jobs really do make them look better.

I'm from the future. The future of space

I think these are awesome. I also think their somewhat stilted and robotic look will make them perfect for use as larger robots/titans in Epic type games.

A am going to have to file/sand down the gears into saw blades though.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

I decided to poll peoples views on the destroyers, but please don't limit yourself there, feel free to express any other views or ideas that you would be interested in seeing as changes.

Thanks again!

I like them. They are different and therefore cool - useful for both chaos and admech. Some saws would not be a bad thing, but I like the gears as they are. Could use some more cables though.

i like the legs, can't really see myself buying the rest of the clockwork chaos though.

The paintjob made them look like knight titans to me. You think you could scale them up and produce a few knight titans? I would definately throw money at a few of them then.

Would keep the torso gears, but change the ones on the weapon arms to be thinner and edged more to make them look more like cutting implements rather than crushing ones.

And DeathGod, your words would carry more weight if it wasn't for the fact that the design on those doors was obviously inspired by Slaneshi Daemonettes. Models GW came out with way before Red Corsair did the doors. If you want to complain about the number of models with T&A in the hobby, aim it at the original design, not someone who spots a hole in the market, get's off their A*** and actually does something about it.

There are certainly models I would not be happy having people know were mine at a FLGS, but GW have to know that Chaos players will be using these sorts of models in their stores, and there used to be some DE models that in my opinion were worse than these.

Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars."
