How can you not like the Kung Fu pose on that Monk?
The dead boar on the back as camo/cloak/whatever, is awesome! The arm with the bow is kind of posed weird in my eyes, but the boar totally makes that mini.
Yes, that chart is handy as I'm sure they were getting lots of questions. My brother doubled up on this one and I get the second set.
Deals abound on Kickstarter these days!

So I'd be looking at 13 character models for $50 (inc int shipping). Just under $4 a pop, so not bad at all, if I like them all. I'm really hoping we get to see a green or two before the KS is over.

1) I dislike almost everything about the highwayman.
2) I like the witch from the waist up. I don't get the choice of a cleaver instead of a knife/staff/fetish of some kind.
3) I hope the druid comes with the little fox creature.

Mmm, I have been weighing it up too. Even after Zombicide and Sedition Wars I am having trouble saying "No" to these new and exciting KickStarters. I am starting to think I may be getting addicted to crowd funding...
Isn't there 15 minis as well, 5 + 2 for the regular ones. 3 for the next level and another 5 for the megas? should they reach the goals.
$3.33 per mini is even more attractive.

I'm leaning the other way now, after SW and Mantic (and a small bit to AoW). This one, perhaps. The plastic Zombie one, perhaps. But.. too much that's available now to buy over things that will take months to come in...

WFB Dwarves have been slowly tempting me, probably my favorite race out there.
Will most likely back for $25, but might go for the $40 pledge. Would give me a fun set of minis to flavor up my units. Would hope that they scale up decent though.

Well....
The Dwarves will be sculpted on a 28 millimeter heroic scale and will fit well with almost all tabletop wargaming and RPG miniatures.
...I think we'll be OK to use them in 'that Game'!

Because this happened:
In the beginning, we were innocent Adventurers, setting out on a simple quest to achieve what we thought was a great first-time out-of-the-shire goal ($1250). We even entertained hopes of growing in increasing our skills/abilities and getting others to join our party (stretch goals). Our simple quest turned into an EPIC quest, then became a MEGA quest, where we were sure we had come to the edge of what we thought possible.... But lo! There was more!
We have about 10 days left till the end of this part of the story and so we thought we would add-on a few side-quests on our journey home.
So, we're introducing:
Add-on Goals are different from Stretch, EPIC, and MEGA goals in that they are not automatically added to a pledge level once they have been reached. Instead, once these goals have been passed, the benefits of the goals may be added to your reward (for any of the backing levels starting at the $12 backer level) by increasing your pledge by $4.00 per benefit.
Still confused? Here's an example: Jimmy has pledged at the $40 level and is going to receive 15 dwarves + a critter, the scenic bases, .pdf files of the character sheets and backstories for each mini. He also wants to add the $50000 Add-on goal benefit: the Fighter (female!!!) to his order. To do this he simply increases his pledge level by $4.00 and sends us a message to tell us that the Fighter is the Add-on benefit that he would like.
Alternatively, Jimmy could add $8.00 to get both the Fighter and the Brewmaster included in his set or $12.00 to get both Dwarves and the set of Dwarven Character Cards.
NOTE: Due to the additional production time needed, adding Add-on benefits to your order will delay estimated delivery of September 2012 shipments until October 2012. We do not foresee any delay issues with any of the other due dates.
When we hit $50,000 the Fighter (a female!) will be made available to add to your reward (for any of the backing levels starting at the $12 backer level) by increasing your pledge amount by $4.00!
When we hit $55,000 Character Cards will be created and made available to add to your reward (for any of the backing levels starting at the $12 backer level) by increasing your pledge amount by $4.00!
When we hit $60,000 the Dwarven Brewmaster will be made available to add to your reward (for any of the backing levels starting at the $12 backer level) by increasing your pledge amount by $4.00!
**Paint levels add $24 per extra mini ($4 - for the mini & $20 for painting/assembly).**

Without being rude - why? I'm genuinely wondering why people see the value in it, so if you can explain it'd be great.
To use as NPCs is the only thing I can think of? Surely if you're using them for your onw RPG character you'll create their own backstory and stats, and obviously they need no stats of their own if you're using them in Warhammer or a boardgame..
