They will look great as guard allies for my true scale Alpha Legion...

Those are SWEEEET. I like the well thought out complete approach to producing a squad. Some of the heads are really funky in a good way!

I'm not sure why these got labeled as "not Kriegs", I mean is every ~28mm scifi figure now ripping off GW? To me they look more like they are from a Dune or Starwars setting.

You are spot on Dawnbringer. Everything "appears to be copying GW".

Sooner these go up on sale the better

The hooded guys could make pretty sweet allies for dark angels

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

These look awesome - it is pretty rare to have different figure ranges that make me go 'ooohhhh' from a single manufacturer, but all the above do that

May have to clear some hobby space to fit some of these guys in

I'm not saying "ZOMG RIPPING OFF GW/FW", I'm just enticing people on what they might use these people for

Ice has definately come a long way since his starting casts with trollforge I will admit, and these are nice. Personally no real use for them and to much of a trollforge loyalist to purchase outside of them for Ice's stuff but cheers and good luck with these.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail. When you play 40k, everything looks like a conversion possibility.

It's an ugly planet. A bug planet.

It's not a question of loyalty here. I'm still very closely associated with Troll Forged, I have a great working relationship, not to mention friendship with the owner. Troll Forged are breaking big and have some significant casting contracts, in a nutshell: bigger fish to fry than Miniatures of the North. Having said that I still have 40+ miniatures pending release over there, some aligned with this MOTN scale/universe and of equal quality as what you see here.

If I'd asked Troll Forged to do the work on these it might take a year before they're on sale. Anvil could have these ready for sale in a week or two if were lucky.

Wow, that bugman is AMAZING! That's the sort of xenos sculpt I wanna see!

Also, I like this company's proportions. Much better than the chunky GW stuff. Sure, some of it is a bit derivative of GW fluff, but that last batch of greens are totally off on their own interesting tack.

Also, the googly-eyes effect on the masked troops is the one thing I really don't like. While many real-world gasmasks do look like that, on a small-scale figure it just looks silly. Redoing a few of those as visors (rather than round lenses) would improve the whole range immensely.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Ooh, I like them all! That dwarf fella is especially cool.

@ Icesword, how much of this stuff are you planning on selling through Joel's company? Will it just be the human troops or are some of those new greens going to be showing up in his store as well?

The investigator sculpt is with Anvil as we speak, along with the troopers.

I think it all depends on what sales are like, followed by peoples interest. As to who does the mini, Anvil or Troll Forged: that comes down to scheduling.

Better than that, the sculpt is in the mold as we speak!

If everything goes to plan, the new MOTN Borderers unit and Investigator will be available to order this evening!

Joel
