It really does. It doesn't feel like like GWs modern art at all and is actually very refreshing.

I like your style. Crisp, clear lines, yet still gritty, and with a good eye for detail.

That said, there are some proportion problems. The main one I noticed is a tendency to make the legs quite a bit too short. It's less bad the more the character bends at the knees, but when a person is standing up straight, it's particularly pronounced. The Emperor's Children Lord is a prime example. Otherwise it's a fine piece, but the legs are too short and stubby. Human legs are typically a bit longer than their head and torso combined.

I reallly like retro style artwork produced for GW universe. Somehow this new computer art doesnt sit well with me. Sure it loooks stunning but something is missing (Clint Langley excluded those are fantastic).
Since I mostly do stuff in one go mistakes sometimes happen and they still didnt invented ctrl+z for hand drawn stuff

I like the older school 40k feel, great stuff

I've never seen real (unaugmented) boobs that big that are that perky. They should droop more!

Well I am delighted after I found out my topic was featured for the first time (I think) on main "welcome" Dakka page. Dont know how do you get there but I am really proud because of that.
Thanks everybody for nice comments and yes most of my artwork has that old style look since I grew up on first editions of Warhammer (still consider them most imaginative part of GW history) and 200 ad comics etc.

Ok here are Imperial nobles from Alan dynasty. They can trace their allegiance to the Emperor and mankind all the way to the Heresy (at least they claim so).

Absolutely superb. Love the art style, and it shows that you really put a lot off effort and soul into these.

We may have to have an inquisitor check in on you to see where you managed to get this talent...

I will admit I have mixed feelings about a lot of your stuff but your Angron and Orks were spot on.

I think your rendition with Angron might actually be my favorite.

Pretty good. There's some really imaginative designs here beyond the usual things we expect to see in most 40k art. Very much reminds me of the old 2000AD comics.

The other comments have been positive so I'll offer some advice to improve instead.

My first issue would be that a lot of these pictures are filled with too much stuff to look at, eg: you tend to put multiple characters on different layers at different heights. It can take a second to pick out if one piece is attached to one character or a different character. An easy way to solve this is through using lines with a different thickness or a more pronounced outline, that way it becomes easier and quicker for the viewer to tell objects and people apart. You did this well on the ork picture, the ork at the friot having a thick outline, making it easier to seperate him from everything else.

Second issue would be that everything seems perfectly flat, facing either directly forward or directly sideways. This is allright on its own to show off a character but when theres multiple images of this it becomes obvious and distracting. You've avoided this issue on some pictures by having them face multiple directions, making the scenes seem much more alive and tangible.

Last issue would be concerning the character proportions but just look up a few tutorials on deviantart, there's like a billion of them.

Otherwise your drawings are pretty good, especially the ork picture. Keep it up

Yeah I tend to draw in "2D" often and not so rarely pics are looking "flat" I am aware of that and sometimes I loose patience and rush to finish it (I have attention span similar to 6 months old chimpanzee ).

Thank you buddha although I never played battletech and havent read any of the books "connected" with it thus I havent seen any artwork To be honest I am not into mecha stuff very much. For me dreadnought is closest too mecha I can take
