I've been playing around with battle scribe lately and it's been great. I haven't experienced any glitches or anything. My only complaint at this point is that there isn't an updated CSM file yet (at least that I've found).

40k Armies:
Alaitoc 9300 points
Chaos 15000 points
Speed Freeks 3850 points

WHFB Armies:
Lizardmen 1000 points

Re setting up the BattleScribe repos:
1) Go to the Randomhit link earlier in the post
2) Find one of the links on that page for the data you want. The link will end with index.xml
3) Right-click the link and "Copy link address" (or similar)
4) In BattleScribe go to Manage Data
5) Paste in the link, click the + / Add button, then the Update button. Your data will be downloaded

Re current version:
The latest version is 1.13.02, and it's currently on the BattleScribe website for computers, in the Google Play store for Android and on iTunes for iPhone/iPad/iPod.

I highly recommend making sure you're up to date - there's been quite a lot of fixes recently (especially on iOS - there was a really nasty bug that broke data files that's now fixed).

Hope that helps - let me know if I can help with anything else

Definitely a great help. I went ahead and got BS Pro for my phone and I figured out how to load up the repositories. How do I edit them once they've loaded? The most recent codex for Necrons doesn't have the Necron Lord or Cryptek options and is missing some wargear options for Wraiths and what not.

That's currently a limitation of the mobile version I'm afraid. The file editors come with the desktop version. You can find the data files on your phone by plugging it in via USB - they're in the BattleScribe/catalogues folder on the phone's SD card / internal storage.

You can copy off the file, edit it, and then copy back

I do plan on adding an editor to the Pro version sooner or later. It's a BIG job though, lots to do first!

1.13.02b (the latest) supports allies within a roster, although your game system will also have to have an Ally Force Org outlined for it work well.

It seems that Battlescribe doesn't support new CSM codex, or I'm missing something?

Have you gotten the new CSM file?

Well, it seems that I haven't. I downloaded used main 40k file and it has old codex in use and I couldn't find specific CSM file to use. Link or directions please?

Army Builder by Lone Wolf is hands down the best program bar none.

Battlescribe is absolutely fantastic! I love tinkering around on it, trying to work out some fun armies to play. Within a few minutes, you're done and you have a playable army. I just created an army of Skaven using only Skavenslaves, it took me about 5 minutes. When my friend was over, I built a list for him using the program in about 3 minutes. It was super-easy, and it's fun for the family!

Army builder is supposed to be good as well, but I'm extremely happy with battlescribe.

I have not found one yet, either try to use Google or ask on the battlescribe boards if anyone is working on one.
