That's because he's a recurring character on a show that lauds "geeky" culture. He's been in plenty of other roles as a guest star on other shows, and he'll probably only really be remembered as that kid from Stand By Me, Wesley Crusher, and Evil Wil Wheaton, and maaaybe Fawkes from the Guild, but probably not.

Bill Keane and his son play 40k I believe, Keane's son posts on dakka too if I remember correctly.

Surprised nobody mentioned Kirsten Dunst: Robin Williams got her to start playing during Jumanji.

I have one famous client on tv right now who was on friends. I won't say their name as it is part of the privacy act but you would be surprised. I know of Billy Crystal and I remember my friend calling me when Kurt Schilling came into the GW store he managed(famous red sox pitcher).

I know Peter Jackson has a custom made Anzacs historical army made by the Perry Brothers for him.
I'm not surprised by Curt Schilling, as he also helped keep Advanced Squad Leader alive after the fall of Avalon Hill.

Lol, and the less then subtle name hinting has started lol.

If your famous your not going to advertise what you play, you'll want to just play without your fans ruining your game.

If you play with a famous person your not going to even suggest you do.

You have Wil Weaton and Robin, who could want more from kinda famous people who play.

Will ask Vin when he's clean my pool for me lol.

Believe the only members of Friends still on television are Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry. It is more likely the latter rather than the former. Though Emp said I would be surprised... so it's probably Courtney Cox... David Arquette probably got her hooked...

I also heard Avatar720 played but he's far too busy being a cheeseburger and lederhosen model to have time for 40k so I'm not buying it.

David Schwimmer is not on TV, but Matt LeBlanc is... With that knowledge, I put my money on him.

They are not quite as famous as the other mentioned here but due to the popularity that has come to their game I feel it's worth mentioning. Some of the guys at Riot Games, such as Morello, play 40K.

David is on lisas show on showtime.

He made a large model village that cane up for sale at auction near my old house in some obscure town in Wales. Not sure how it ended up there, but it only had a small mention in the newspaper and was given an estimate of about £100 which seemed a very sad end IMO.
