Awesome from head to hoof. The base is a bit busy, and being that the contrast is so strong on the model itself they compete a little for the eye's attention, but honestly the only time I get picky is when something is so jaw-dropping. I certainly will never achieve that level ever in my life and I'm already about 25 years going painting minis.

Whoever commissioned the piece must be loving life. this is a milestone in style and execution. I would love to see it photographed against different color backgrounds as well.

Tutorial - step-by - step it`s isn`t a key. Level growing means that you don`t do superfluous movements. When you feel the step for highlits or shadows. You need to know contrast and colour theory.

So here best tutorial that i can give to you , book - " Itten, Johannes. The Art of Color: the subjective experience and objective rationale of color. "

Well, hell, I am a Fine Arts major and have taken color theory and have been painting on canvas for over a decade, but I can't seem to get past my current plateau in mini painting.

I think doing commissions has stifled me a bit - I need to take a break and do single models.

One hangup I have is being bold - I just can't commit to those incredible highlights for some reason. I tend to lose them by being too cautious with my colors.
