Yeah. I really, REALLY like the look of this stuff, especially as I am about to start on a 6x4 urban board, but the presentation of this kickstarter leaves me scratching my head.
I have no idea how much I would get for my money, especially as there are multiple packs per pledge level.
A sample layout for each pledge level pack would have been nice.
Not sure about this, will have another look and head scratch, to see if I can work out what's what.

It could certainly be a bit clearer - I can't help but think that would help your overall campaign too!

I have to agree with Alpharius. Not having a clear idea what my pledge buys me or how much I have to spend to get a decent setup is going to make me take a pass on this. Still, it looks interesting set up on the table. I wish you luck in getting this project completed.

I keep looking at this project and just wishing I had the money to pledge for it. I would love to blow 800 quid on a walkway set but it is just so daunting!

I would say that yes, the pledges are still mighty confusing (I can't actually tell what you changed).

Does kickstarter let you remove pledge levels that no one has backed? If so I would be rid of every single one of them and the sets that they accompany. Instead create three, maybe four levels ranging from small to huge for both the walkway and corridor sets. No need to describe every single piece that comes in the set, simply create images that do that job much better instead. I think I read on a blog some time ago that reviewed successful kickstarters and it claimed that having more than 10ish pledge levels negatively impacted the success of the project and you have 54...

You could also create a couple of graphics that show all the separate components along with a price and allow the backer to up their pledge by the desired amount in case they want a couple more end pieces/ towers or whatever. Much easier than pledging for multiple levels which is what you seem to want people to do (even though I thought that was impossible?)

That is some awesome terrain there, but I too am confused by the pricing. To get a 4x4 board with 3 levels,, if I understand correctly, I would need the complete board level 1 (500 pounds), level 2 (800 pounds) and level up (300 pounds), for a grand total of 1600 pounds? Is that right?

I am in the market to replace my old necromunda building sets (I own 3), but 1600 seems pretty expensive, even compared with other laser cut sets...

Ok, just to be clear, the Complete Board Level 2 includes the complete board level 1, and a second floor for all the walkways and levels?? That sounds awesome.

Also, with that, I could, by NOT using all second floors, potentially cover a larger table, or do the second levels not work as first levels?

yep CBL2 includes the CBL1 & a level up to have a set 2 levels high.

the level up comes without tower tops so you cant use as a level 1

also i will put on tower tops as a pledge so if you want extra for you level up you can use them as a level 1

I concur with all the other comments that echo this. The Cost Benefit Analysis does not support an investment from me at this time. This is one of the more confusing listings/pledging's even after the clarifications to date. I wish I could offer a simpler solution to resolve it. Good luck.

If i calculated it right, then I need $800 to get the complete space hulk set........ that is.... wayyyyyy too much.

nonsense, seeing the components is fine. I just wish I knew clearly what the different pledges were for, some list items, some list prices and items which confuse the bajeezus out of me.

I don't generally buy into laser cut terrain but sweet mother of god that is amazing.

The starter set idea is great, Do you remember the old necromunda terrain set? One three level tower, one two level smaller "cornerish" thing, one larger one level buinding and enough walkways to conect them. Just enough for diversity

One last question... did I understand correctly that on the CBL2 the set 11 comes with enough parts to go three floors?

What is the diference between a "first floor" and an "extra floor"? They seem to have the same parts, but the prices are different.

I would love to fund this, but I want a smaller corridor set and while I do understand it, this might be the most confusing kick starter I've ever seen. I know you are losing pledges because people can't crack the code.

Now, to be completely honest, it is MUCH BETTER now... I still think the text on the pledges is a bit confusing, and the main page could do with some clarification, it does not take that much to understand it after rockgod2304 made some changes.

I've noticed a trend across all of the kick starters, which is to covey important information, terms and conditions or clarifications, exclusively in image format, confusing the update/info with product and causing probably not just me to completely ignore while I look for the fine print in the text. For that reason I'm making myself a nuisance to you, again, by hoping that you provide text I formation as well t make the info searchable as well. Our tech hasn't come far enough yet to read *.jpg files, ad I want to murder people that insist on making flah websites, because all of their content is unseaarchable which makes it ve.... (rant finishes sometime at lunch on friday)

Part of the reason for this is KS limits the amount of text you can have on the front page (and big/complex projects can run out fast)

One thing that still is not perfectly clear is that:

Level 1 kits are (walkways, floors, tower legs and tower tops)x1

Level 2 kits are (walkways, floors, tower legs)x2 and (tower tops)x1

Extra levels are just (walkways, floors, tower legs)x1

Also, you should clarify that the tower tops are the slanted roof things that "finish" the levels, and make it look nicer

It should also be said that no kits include either large or small ends.

From my perspective, the ends and the tower tops add a nice finish, but are not indispensable.

And an idea: an eventual "add on" could be a top hatch, smaller than the tower tops, but that "closes" the stairs at the top level.

ive found if you put things in the normal txt people just miss it e.g i put the size of the walkways in txt & i still get loads of msgs asking whats the sizes

i'll try both & cover my base's lol
