STEEL LEGION!!!!

The only acceptable answer.

However, sadly, Forgeworld stole the "Guys in Trenchcoats with Gas Masks" army and there's no way GW undercuts FW sales by offering a duplicate army in plastic.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

Savlar Chem dogs, elysians, or an assortment of feral warriors and other different members of the imperium.

Also squats.

I stand corrected. Those would be cool options, lol.

However, I almost would vote against Chem Dogs because the best part about Chem Dog armies are the conversions.

Mordian Iron Guard & Armaggedon Steel Legion.

A Cadian Kasrkin Multipart Plastic Kit would also be nice.

Sadly, the models were pretty awful. But there were a handful that were decent. The plasma gun stormtrooper is pretty slick, and worth picking up. Makes a decent standin with a vet or command squad.

I just really hate greenstuffing berets on every Sergent - but updated plastic versions of those boys would be pretty epic.

So, I was just curious about what Imperial Guard regiment you would want to see as a new plastic release? It isent a poll because I'm not very good at IG and dont know many of the regiments.. Anyways, Personally, If they did Steel Legion as plastics I'd have to gat IG allies for one of my armies.. XD Love the gasmasks and long coats..

If they did steel legion in plastics, particularly making them new awesome kits with the level of detail GW has been, it would be really hard for me to resist doing an IG army.

So i kinda hope they don't do that, lol.

But no, more seriously, mixed sex vallhallans, and make a character of ciaphas cain for lulz.

Also, recut the chimera kit so it can make salamanders, and the chimera can make any weapon option...

More to the point, something that isn't out there in someone else's 28mm line and done better than GW can (so, er, DKOK?)

The next plastic kit I would like to see would have the following:

1. bodies that would fit both the Mordian and Pratorian with different heads. The uniforms are close enough. I know some purists out there are screaming at me now.

2. Heavy weapons options and special weapons added. Not asking for three plasma/melta per kit, just at least one of each. you can build a infantry squad all the way with alot of options.

I know this would cost more, but I would rather go with this than a bunch of different kits.

I'd be so down for either Mordians or Steel Legion in plastic. I would normally say Valhallans, but I've got over 2000 points of the metals and don't actually need more!

I think that Supplemental Codexs will be a big thing coming up for 6th edition 40k and that means many of these regiments will probably get their own book, for example:

-Catachans: I am not a fan of these guys at all but they did use to have their own book back in the day, could see them getting one again.

-Steel Legion: My favorite IG Regiment besides Elysians (they are tied in terms of awesomeness) and expect this book would have some mechanized shinanigans.

-Tallaran: Could honestly see these guys as a light infantry style of army or an Armored Company as both fit the fluff.

-Valhallans: Lots and LOTS of cheap infantry and conscripts backed by batteries of Manticores...I love it

-Vostroyans: Elite infantry with great rules when it comes to fighting in, cities, ruins or possibly even area terrain.

-Harakoni Warhawks: Drop troopers, another favorite of mine! Lots of infantry, Valkyrie dedicated transports with Vendettas as Heavy Support and Sentinels as Fast Attack. Oh and everything deepstrikes!

-Mordians: Fearless infantry that refuse to break, probably with some interesting volley fire rules for their lasguns.

Notice that I did not mention any of the Forgeworld lists and for a specific reason. Forgeworlds designers were not to pleased that their Valkyrie and Vendetta kits where taken and put into 40k (according to a friend who keeps close tabs on this kind of stuff) and I doubt they would take anything else from Forgeworld. Not a for sure thing just my opinion and due to the info at hand.

Steel Legion! Besides that, whilst I like Tallarns and love Valhallans, I have to give the second place to Mordian Iron Guard. Their designs are just so lovely and unique. Also, who doesn't like an army that is known for killing commisars considering them to be too cowardly?
