Purple Power or SuperClean will be your friend in large jugs. They both work great. I've stripped 20+ year old enamel paint off of metal and plastic miniatures with both of them.

"I stand for the Emperor. In all things, I am loyal to Him, and I cannot break that bond. He has many great ambitions, and the noblest of intentions, but I know that above all else, He is determined to stand firm against the rise of Chaos. He has always known the truth of it. The overthrow of the Primordial Annihilator is His greatest wish. So what I do, autarch, from this moment on, I will do for the Emperor." -Alpharius, Primarch of the Alpha Legion.

+1 to Purple Power
+1 to LA's Totally Awesome

All of the stores near me (Pa, USA) have Simple Green in abundance. As was noted previously, make sure to check the automotive department as well as the cleaning aisle. It's not uncommon to use Simple Green for automotive upholstery, and for pressure washing the exterior of a vehicle.

An alternative (though tad more expensive) suggestion (but the name was forgotten in a previous post) is Clorox Greenworks Multipurpose Cleaner. Comes out smelling better than Simple Green! Stripped all my nids in it (which were also quickshade dipped).

I tested it, and it works perfectly on plastics for any length of time (my test was 1 month). Never tested it on resin, so do a study with a piece of sprue.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
